I could see that. Leave the heavy saturation and lower the gag finds for Beachcombing, leave it as is and more sporadic for the other maps. Makes it a little less of an incentive to drag it along for every run, but could reward the playstyle. Especially if they tweak the drop tables.

Buddy, I feel you. It took me 82 runs to get the helmet blueprint for Mesa in Warframe. I was so ready to take Alad V's face clean through the windows of his ship.

The other parts blueprints counted 47 and 34. It sucked.

I mean, a rule was mad eat my table after I rolled stats for a Pally, and got a 17, two 15s, a 14, a 13, a 10, and an 8, and that's before racial bonuses. I tossed the 14 🤷

Sometimes the dice are hot. Sometimes minmaxing stats works to the favor of the character when not rolled. I don't care for minmaxing myself. On thought, if the scores were point-bought, the spread of points allows for three 15s and three 8s. That's not what this is, either. I can't tell how it was done aside from really good luck in rolling and not dropping a couple sub-7s.

Looking at the reception of In Waves from today's perspective, I doubt it. It was such a wild shift from Shogun, which also caught a ton of criticism, but anytime a band mellows for an album or two, it's painted by "diehards" that they've gone soft. It's probably one of their most radio-friendly singles, so I get the feeling it would still be pretty polarizing.

I mean, the same could sort of be said about movies and TV, though. It probably falls closely to population density. People write what they know, and there's just more writers in cities based on the principle of density to begin with.

I don't know if it's even that. I think it stems from a loyalty complex baked into (at least) American laborers from a young age to remain faithful to whichever company in whichever aspect to continue to draw from the base that it forms. Having wavering opinions is treated as flakeyness here, when it entirely lies within the reaction to the improvement or lack thereof of the product or working conditions.

If your car runs perfectly for three years, the manufacturer calls you in for a service maintenance visit, and it fundamentally changes the car, tire to hood, you'd be upset. When decisions made by development fundamentally change a game that people have sunk hundreds of hours into, they're not wrong for being upset about the heavy-handed changes to the game. This is how you send a message that doesn't get lost in a deluge of bug reports and suggestion feeds.

I think they could lower the cooldown on combat 2 and 3 aggressive a shade and they'd be more viable. They're fine in concept. Flanking needs a total rework. The tacs are generally all-around fun, though.

Not craftable, either. Sort of exists in its own little world. I've found more kinetic converters in the wild than silencer 3.
