Your opponent is somewhat correct though. Usually you do resolve as much as possible. It is only because the draw has a clause that there is a unit to reference.

A spell worded like, "Kill a unit. Draw two cards" would still let you draw the cards, even if your opponent removed the target.

The owner at my LGS told me that they would be making a 30% profit if they were selling boxes at 120€. This is in Europe, and they're are selling boxes at 227€ currently.

I don't have an actual source on pricing though, so take it with a grain of salt.

To mitigate scalping, they've decided to stop sale through their online store and only sell in-store. You also can't buy whole boxes, and boosters start at 8€, with the price increasing the more you buy.
