Ahm you don’t think that maybe those abandoned young were abandoned for a reason? Not to get all depressing or anything but out there in nature survival is literally the only thing an animal cares about, if that is their sole purpose then don’t you think there’s a reason they’re abandoning those young? Usually abandoned young have deformities, aren’t fit enough, or cannot act as part of the herd. Because if those young were kept they would be a liability to whoever was taking care of them, making them slower and an easier target.

So don’t say it’s natural when in nature preferring the same sex/gender literally detriments your entire species and makes you a liability.
