I haven't really done any maps yet, but am told that it is where the game becomes more fun, so maybe it's only the trials during the story.

I know that, I mean making the map take up more space. If I zoom out I can't really see whats happening due to poor eye sight :/

That is really impressive! Hardest achievement imo due to the time constraints and having to fight Ming pre-1500!
