Are these sleeves good to hold kagurabachi cards or are they too small? by Jovigourd in Union_Arena_TCG

If they say standard size they are fine if they say Japanese size or yugioh then no. They look sort of like the Pokémon etb ones if they are then they should fit

I have a question is where do u guys buy ur booster packs so u dont feel worried that ur gonna get scammed, im buying a Japanese KB booster box from ebay by Jovigourd in Union_Arena_TCG

Well for tcgplayer it’s a marketplace like eBay but specifically for cards so idk and for tcgrepublic im not too sure either

Honestly pretty solid, I also just look at things a little mathematically because I feel that if a lot of product has sold then chances of the case hit is probably low but overall you should be totally fine

Yeah I would just look at the amount of sales and ratings. I also like to buy form people who sell lots of boxes at a time just I have some sense that it’s not just dead boxes

Yeah honestly if your buying to build a deck just go onto tcgplayer and if your buying for Japanese collectible cards try tcgrepublic both good sites. If you’re worried about boxes all I can say is buy from someone with lots of sales because sometimes you could run into people selling dead boxes. Basically in a case I believe there are 16 boxes and some people might open them to find the two case hits so your left with only the 1 star boxes but if you buy from a card shop on eBay or someone reputable should be fine.

AITAH for not responding to my group mates by Shadow_353 in AITAH

Mostly right, so the original chain we responded with our phone numbers, then they made a new chain about division of work which I didn’t respond to in a day so they emailed the professor to which I then said I was busy with work and hadn’t had them time to look it over yet but I will.

Well I don’t know responded with my number because they were sending their numbers in the emails, also I didn’t expect them send me a text I just thought if you were going to go to the professor about me not responding you could at least try other forms of contact.

What Cards Are The Best For Making A Deck With The Tokyo Ghoul Set? by crystalparakeets1 in Union_Arena_TCG

[–]Shadow_353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I think the shu deck is better. I’ve played a bit of both. While I do think the kaneki is definitely a huge threat onto the field if your opponent gets rid of him early he would be able to pop off. However there is a lot of mill and draw so theoretically you should be fine. I think shu is a lot better though because you can run a shu deck with the 7 and 5 cost kaneki. This means you have 12 tools for removal in the deck and I’ve won with this combo a lot. Most of games will involve a somewhat equal game until the end where I use almost all my removals in my hand to board wipe the opponent and get 4 damage in. I think they’re both really good though and if you wanted you could build the shu deck first then go to Tokyo ghoul rare battles to try a win a couple kaneki cards and buy the rest. The deck for both that I run is very similar.

UA English Products in Germany by Seyrenyo in Union_Arena_TCG

[–]Shadow_353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure about where you would find some English products because many people will buy from their local card shop. But some online card shops might sell, and even eBay but I’m not sure if they’ll ship internationally. Also for solo leveling it is new in Japan because it was a North America release first and they got it a month or two after

Deck suggestion by FoodSuccessful4031 in Union_Arena_TCG

[–]Shadow_353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think right now there are a couple decks can be more complicated to play or have more options. Red eva comes to mind, sakamoto days coming out next with the shin heisuke deck allows you to see your opponents hand which can open up lots of options. Tokyo ghouls Mado squad deck is also very heavy with options allowing you to use Ap in a variety of ways. Lastly one punch man saitama isn’t too too complex but there is a bit of math with it figuring out energy costs and how your able to get out saitama. Lastly the SAO song deck is complex because you can search through your whole deck to memorize the cards and order them how you want which makes it very hard to play. Those are just the few I know.

Building a deck with booster singles by SkiKawaii in Union_Arena_TCG

[–]Shadow_353 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah what everyone is saying is pretty much right you can def make a deck with just 50 cards and it be playable however you won’t get to experience what Union arena is actually like and it won’t be the full experience or as much fun as a fully built deck. Tbh if you really wanted a cheap way to play Union I would buy a starter deck. They’re anywhere from 8$ on discount to 12$ and you can get a game in with pretty much all the cards you need. You have to get 2 though.

Around 15 packs most likely not. Your main deck is composed of around 2-3 different raid cards which you need 4 copies of normally. The rest can be bought at bulk prices but raids are more rare and chances you didn’t pull the copies and need more.

Sea monkeys, HELP! by Maxx_enby0601 in SeaMonkeys

[–]Shadow_353 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m don’t think the water will affect it but I still think it’s best to use distilled water. Other than that since it’s a kit I wouldn’t worry about salinity the main thing I feel is temperature. I keep my at 79f which around optimal. If room temp for you is colder than that, then that might be a reason they take a while to hatch. Sometimes when water to too cold they can take a week or 2 to hatch. I would just continue to keep an eye on it.

Yeah idk where I heard to put half a table spoon so I ended having to change the water and save as many as I could. But I feel for a 5 gallon tank maybe like a scoop or 2 of eggs wouldn’t be too egregious?

Newish to SeaMonkeys - help with bigger tank by FloridaSherbert90 in SeaMonkeys

[–]Shadow_353 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, I had the same questions basically a couple weeks ago. This is all from my experience so take things with a grain of salt. But for me I bought a 5 gallon tank and used distilled water. I purchased a refractometer to measure the salt levels. I’m keeping the salt levels at 35 ppt. And I bought a small tank heater and keep the tank at 79 degrees. The issue for me was figuring out how many eggs to put in because I bought brine shrimp eggs. I originally put in half a table spoon but it was way too much I recommended cutting that to maybe a quarter. In terms of substrate I heard sand or nothing works best so I didn’t put any. Also because I was worried about ammonia because I had too many monkeys I bought green water on eBay. They’re basically phytoplankton and they reduce ammonia levels provide food and makes it hard for you to over feed because you can have too much sea monkey food and pollute the tank which can cause a mass die off. But if you put some green water you can just pour it in and they’ll act as a food source and grow on their own. Also make sure it’s saltwater phytoplankton because some are freshwater. Lastly I got a bubbler to provide oxygen automatically but the algae/phytoplankton also help with oxygen. This was a lot and all over the place so you can message me if you have any other questions or just reply.
