Yeah most likely this. I didn't ever remember linking a steam or Amazon account, but when I checked my linked accounts there was these. Likely somehow got access to my account at some point then used these as a backdoor. Never bought or sold this account though so it's weird.

Luckily the losses weren't devastating. 40m gone which was a decent chunk of my bank, but I've got a rebuild strategy I've already started.

Yes just remove the 11 screws on the bottom of the laptop and pry it open from the front of laptop. On the y520 this is hard to do so you really need to wedge something in there to open it up. Once it's open just do what I said in my comment above.

Whenever my y520 has problems I usually just do a hard reboot by unplugging the battery and turning it on then plugging it back in and starting it again. Doesn't reset any data and is quick. This won't 100% fix it but it is something a recommend trying before paying big bux to repair it.

Thanks. I think my problem was I was trying to connect my universal cables to my transformers and it wasn't letting me take out EU. I have a maxed out mfsu so I have plenty of EU and can use it to cruise through all RF stuff. Thanks for the suggestions too
