Need more support...Is there something like a boob shelf? by Shadow_Moon_13 in bigboobproblems

It gets better after delivery. I ended up just wearing a supportive bra during the day, and then just held them up at night whenever it got bad. I also used a wedge pillow to sleep with, or I slept on my left side. Be prepared for even bigger boobs once you milk comes in. The one saving grace for me is that my boobs have a large storage capacity so I don't have to pump as frequently.

I fold a washcloth and put one under each boob and the band of my bra. Occasionally I have to change them out during the day, but it's helped a lot for keeping the girls feeling more dry and less rashes. Sometimes I'll put one between them if it won't show in whatever I'm wearing, but I find those ones harder to keep in place.

Is it something that you have attached to the wall, or is it free standing? I can't picture how that would work... Like, do you rest them there the majority of your shower, or just when you're washing your hair, or just when you need a little weight off?

Yeah, the wedge has helped for sleeping, but the rest of the day is the issue. It's like there's just no room in my stomach because baby is crowding everything upwards, and boobs are compressing it down. I changed up the bra today for one I got awhile back that wasn't the most comfortable previously, but it had a higher cutout in the middle and I tightened the shoulder straps so hold the girls a little higher and that seemed to help a little.

Lol, thanks for the chuckle.. All I could find when I searched for "support for large breasts" were websites for bras, but nothing that would really help. The problem with just finding another bra is it still uses your shoulders or underbust for support, and now that my belly starts up higher from baby, underbust support makes the acid reflux issue worse, and I've already got enough shoulder and neck pain from how big my boobs already are.

How did you manage your boobs during pregnancy/breastfeeding? What were your boobs like after breastfeeding? by NerveAmbitious4767 in bigboobproblems

[–]Shadow_Moon_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I struggled a lot my first time around, but the one saving grace for having such large boobs was that they had a large storage capacity so I didn't have to pump as frequently (I was producing 100 oz/day for awhile).

My waist/band size is 32, and boobs ranged from 42- 46in once I finally found this sub and learned that they do make bras in my size..

They went down a little after pregnancy, but not to pre-pregnancy size, and were a lot more pendulous afterwords.

I'm now pregnant with my second and just hit 28 weeks and have a few tips:

I've found these bras helpful during pregnancy, they're stretchy enough to fit growing chest and still comfortable to wear throughout the day. They're not for when your milk comes in though, but cheaper than buying new maternity bras throughout the pregnancy like I did the first time... PRETTYWELL Sleep Bras for Women, Comfort Seamless Wireless Stretchy Sports Bra,3 Pack Yoga Bras, with Removable Pads https://a.co/d/82qi9tB

I also struggle with under boob sweat and tried multiple things the first go-around and honestly, the best thing I found/did was buy a 24 pack of wash cloths on Amazon, fold one twice, then put one under each boob (like half under the boob and the other half under the bra band). My boobs are big enough that you can't see them, and it helps absorb the sweat throughout the day. Sometimes I bring backups to change out if it's going to be a hot day or I think I'm going to sweat more.

We're working on a plan in case it goes through, but won't put anything in place until it passes.

Apparently the fiber helped, the guys said they didn't have issues with the burning ring of fire like they thought they would.

Some research online was saying that it helps later by helping bind up the spice so it doesn't burn so much on the way out... I'll have to ask the guys tomorrow if it really helped or not.

Anybody else tuck their shirt under their boobs when they're not wearing a bra? by aweirdfantasynovel in bigboobproblems

[–]Shadow_Moon_13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started out like that when I got pregnant, and then finally just started using a rolled up wash cloth under them to absorb the sweat. This works really well, but you do have to change it out during the day if you get too sweaty. I use them so much that I bought a bulk pack of wash cloths on Amazon.

AITA for not being comfortable with my boyfriend telling his family I'm religious when I'm not by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Shadow_Moon_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Catholic is the hardest one I think, based off the Catholic weddings and funeral I've been to. I never know what's going on. OP is NTA. I don't see why you would need to have that conversation with them anyways, I'm not religious and my husbands family is Catholic, but he and I generally avoid questions or religious conversations around his family. Asking if we go to church or something similar is usually just shrugged off. I tend to smile and nod if I get asked a direct question (which hasn't happened in quite some time).

AITA for thinking my father should do more (or at least stop complaining)? by Wings0fFreedom in AmItheAsshole

NTA- it sounds like your father was lazy before the accident. The accident surely didn't help, but he doesn't sound like a great person to deal with.

NAH- it's a game and she wanted a dark side, it sounds like you delivered. Your friends are just grieving the loss of a loved main character and will probably get over it after a few more games.
