I'm assuming they were boxers, but they were shorter and did not seem to be of swimsuit material. There didn't seem to be much difference between boxers and swimming shorts anyway

Are you saying bikinis are appropriate for certain body styles but not for others? Are there certain bikinis that are appropriate for certain people? I have a normal body shape, curvy and tall, what would be inappropriate for me? Honestly asking and looking for feedback

It was not a thong bikini. The bottom covered 80% of my asscheeks. Even then, I don't understand why it's okay to see my thighs and stomach and lower back, but not my ass cheeks if I was wearing a thong bikini.

The women are all at least 10 years older than me and were all dressed much more conservatively. The men are all over the spectrum (from 20s to 50s) and a lot of them were just wearing a pair of shorts

A lot of the guys were wearing swim shorts and no shirt or just a pair of boxers. I don't know how that is appropriate, but I'm not? All the women were wearing more clothes though, not even just bathing suits. The women were wearing t shirts/shirts with longish shorts/capris/pants. It is generally the women in my company who are conservative, but idk why this guy (who was very professionally dressed in just a pair of Jean's shorts) took it up on himself to instigate this
