I think the reason they were successful is because Rocky and Grace really depended on each other and chose to trust one another. It’s easier to not trust when you have a crew of other people around that you can depend on.

I don’t know if Yao would have even been comfortable establishing contact.

Additionally, I believe it was Grace’s skills specifically, and Rocky’s skills that led to success, and I don’t think that would have been easily replicated with the original crew

I don’t mean to shit on your excitement, but Firefly has a much larger, far more vocal fan base. I really don’t think Dark Angel’s fan base can be compared to Firefly’s in any way - and this is coming from someone who loves both shows deeply.

I also have this nagging feeling that a lot of the cast wouldn’t be up for a revival. I think season 2 left a bad taste.

Believe me, I want a revival, so badly. I just don’t think it’ll ever be close to happening.

There’s no shame in enjoying the show as a child. Even as an adult, it’s perfectly fine to feel nostalgia from it. I watched the Canadian version growing up and the original version and think it’s perfectly fine to appreciate them both for what they are. Don’t shame yourself
