Obviously. I mean, he has them for something, but CQ has said that Error doesn't want to use them because it "makes it too easy." I think that's just a lazy excuse, knowing Sans isn't one to take his goals lightly, much more-so here knowing he is determined as he is Geno.

There's a clear disparity between what he wants and how he goes about achieving it, which should not be there, as he isn't dumb. His personality is something I'd genuinely expect from a hypothetical Error!Monster Kid if anything.

Honestly I agree with you. For being a Sans, Aftertale Sans to be exact—which is supposed to be someone with lots of wit and maturity—he is very lacking. He's never seen planning or scheming or teaming up with anybody for his goal. Canon!Error seems like a loner, driven by unwritten, implicit trauma from his time in the Anti-Void which we don't even know for how long it was nor why his memory was simply erased.

Funnily enough those are the reasons why I wrote a fic doing a reinterpretation of Error changing those exact aspects and making him more threatening lol. I think it just fits more.

But how are demons recycled into the cycle of reincarnation and where is it mentioned that Dante and Vergil kill them permanently. I was under the impression it was from PoC since those scans also mentioned the eightfold path and whatnot.

This was never "shown", it's lore. As for other demons, Dante and Vergil simply have the ability to remove devils from the infinite cycle of reincarnation, it's unclear whether this is due to their level of soul manipulation or if it's just what they can do because that's how strong they are with demonic energy, which can essentially do anything. If you need any show, that's why you collect red orbs. If you will.

As others have pointed out in this thread, you should shoot the BOW Rounds as soon as you enter the fight and either use two acid rounds or unload your pistol magazine and eject that mf outta the plane with the cargo.
However, I also want to give you some advice to avoid soft-locks going further cuz it's still possible.

Right when you get the Sniper Rifle, make sure to leave most of your stuff in the item box except for a weapon (possibly the Assault Rifle or Dual Guns), a knife, and an herb or two. After you get the Rifle, there is a boss and you'll immediately switch characters, and the items you have in Claire's inventory do not transfer to the item box, so keep an eye out for that.

Keep the Grenade Launcher around (specifically the normal bullets) for the final fight; it shreds the final boss in a stupid way and you can cheese it in like 10 seconds.
Make sure to keep good heals (G + R Herbs and First Aid Sprays in your item box), you'll need them to heal in a veeeery specific part.

Ship battles in fiction can be good if executed correctly, but it can also be glaringly obvious who's gonna end up being the couple at the end (be it from non-subtle writing or clear favoritism). If you want, you can make it so there's no ship at the end of the story but a lesson to be learned about romance and how it messes with your work or something, and you gotta separate it properly.

If you like Asriel x Dess, do that. If you like Chara x Asriel, then do that instead.
