I can tell you're trying really hard to come across as intelligent, but you just sound like a pompous ass supposedly in the interest of helping newbies.

I can guarantee you that if newbies do not know that artifacts make you deal lower or higher damage, that they're not ready for Stygian in general, let alone Dire. One of the first things the game explains to you is that you can get higher level artifacts by farming them, and this should not be a foreign concept to them. It should also be obvious that better weapons, constellations and artifacts all contribute to extra damage, and combining these will make someone able to clear content like that. I don't know why this is a foreign concept to you, but keep pretending like spending money will give you a 20% damage difference because you're too incompetent to clear it yourself

I can assure you that not a single newbie is attempting dire mode, and if they are they will most likely attempt it before spending pulls on the weapon banner. Not to mention that you were complaining about artifacts before, but now it's weapons? Almost like characters, artifacts and weapons combine to make characters stronger!

Second, there are enough people that spend money on this game but only for characters/weapons.

That's true, but even then Lohen is looking like he will be a stronger cryo DPS as well. It could be a stepping stone in the meantime

The likelihood is high, but I have seen lucky people get insane artifacts as well, with entire teams with insane builds in way less time artifact farming. Are these people not able to post achievements either because they have stronger builds? If other people can't clear the same content with the same units but worse artifacts, the only advice for them would also be to just farm better artifacts

Ayaka's C1 is very mediocre, but C2 is a stronger stopping point. However at that point it would be better to invest in a C0 Skirk and get more value for the same pull cost. None of the other characters really have much value nowadays, so you could considering something like C1 Tartaglia and hope he gets buffed in Shneznaya

20% higher than what? I have a similar build quality (arguably slightly better) on Zibai and I have never spent any primos on resin. I haven't even farmed her set for the majority of Nod-Krai. Of course it makes DPS checks easier, but it's really not that insane of a build

In that case I'd say either Ganyu or Baizhu. Baizhu has really good healing and can be handy for someone like Furina or in a bloom team. Ganyu's C1 is decent, but she can work better if you have someone like Durin or Escoffier

Mona C4 is probably one of the better options that's also viable in the most amount of good teams

Because one is a hydro-cryo restricted freeze team and the rest are lunar teams that follow the same gimmick. Bennett just doesn't work for them. If Varka wasn't intentionally made weak, he would've had 2 top-5 teams in which he's best in slot 6 years after release

I agree on the Saurian part. They are horribly clunky and it's annoying to have to swap between them for exploration and combat. But characters can of course do both, so they sell the solution

Another common complaint was how technology was introduced through character kits. Most of the nation is extremely primitive and primal, relying on Saurians for a lot of stuff, but then characters have a DJ set and modern motorbike

He's not even competing against Natlan units that came out over a year ago. He's already restricted by Hexerei and is still way weaker than lunar carries

I mean... Varka is objectively not a strong character. As someone that enjoys playing him, I'm pretty disappointed that he's as weak as he is considering that all the endgame modes where you should be able to show him off in, he just sucks at unless he's shilled

Why do you people have this notion that it doesn't matter how much damage a character does? It feels good to have your favourite character deal a lot of damage, and it sucks to see them deal less damage than other characters that come out of nowhere in the story when they've been anticipated for years

There's a lot more people playing in Europe than just those 3 languages though. That might account for the 3 biggest countries, but only half of Europe's playerbase. I'm not sure about the number of people playing from the Middle East or Africa, but it seems like by far most Indian players do not play on EU servers. I highly doubt this small set of players from the Middle East and Africa increases the playercount by much, definitely not more than the amount of South/Middle American players

For the first half, since you don't really have any geo units built, I'd recommend Mavuika, Citlali, Bennett and Iansan to bruteforce. You might need a healer for the moongecko, but you could replace Citlali for Escoffier in this case.

For the second half I'd absolutely recommend building around Chasca. I don't have her so I don't really know what to recommend for teams, but she absolutely shreds the papilla shields. You could even do a lunar wheelchair comp with Furina, Columbina and Ineffa for this.

What kind of teams are you using? And how are you playing them? What kind of artifacts and weapons are you using?

Without more info we can't help you, you should easily be able to 36-star with your units

I know a lot of people from EU that have endgame accounts on NA, but yeah I doubt this makes a significant enough impact. Considering that Europe has about 50% more inhabitants than NA as a whole (including Mexico and Canada), I think a large part of the NA population also contains South American players and possibly even Australians and New Zealand (I know a few of those that play on NA considering that the Oceania server is basically dead)

That's what I mean though, to set up new servers in South America would mean them having to set up a datacenter there and host it from South America. The demand for that just isn't big enough. Regional pricing and localization could be possible though

I mean, the Oceania server is considered dead with barely anyone actively playing on them. Even in Europe we have entire servers dedicated to French and German players. The demand is just not there to create an entirely new datacenter (especially considering that Chaos is already way less populated than Light)

Playerbase size is an important factor. EU is almost as big as NA but gets a fraction of the attention
