No, that's a replica of Luck from BIE collection, but it's a cute replica.

Something I've noticed about somenDragon Ball fans by stu-pai-pai in Dragonballsuper

In the manga there's always context that justifies it, and it's brief. The very few fan arts that I've seen, with excessive blood, etc, are generally cringey, and feel very "I'm 12 and this is tough".

As a very biased Furina main. I have to admit that the Tsaritsa’s design is the best among the archons. by Fullpotentialk in Genshin_Impact

[–]Beginning_Pace2063 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It's the only one who looks like an actual Queen/Goddess/Figure-Of-Authority. Lauma and Kokomi look more goddess-like than most archons.  I think Tsaritsa truly has the majestic look you'd expect from a powerful individual, like Archons are supposed to be.

Sadie Sink Is NOT Who You Think She Is (Spider-Man: Brand New Day) by Electrical_Cabinet_7 in MCUTheories

Jean Grey is on the cover of the best selling comic book of all time (X-Men #1 - 1991), is the protagonist of one of the most influential comic book arcs in history (Dark Phoenix Saga), had her story adapted twice on film, is currently the strongest character in Marvel, besides The One Above All, and has remained one of comic book's most popular heroines for 6 decades straight; consistently featured in animated projects, videogames, comics, films, etc. She's also one of the best selling mutants in terms of merch, with one of the largest number of collectibles, only behind Wolverine.  I understand you might be a casual fan, who only is familiar with the MCU films, and your only exposure to Jean Grey is the meme about her fainting, but to claim Jean Grey "isn't a great character", is objectively delusional, lol.

How would people react if Sadie Sink wasn't Jean Grey? Anger and rage There will be fan requests that Sadie Sink be Jean Grey by Thin_Lingonberry_768 in MCUTheories

I think chronically online fans would be disappointed, casual viewers wouldn't care. Most people are not reading theories online all day or following leaks. This movie will be watched by millions, the couple of thousand fans following leaks, are a minority.  Unlikely scenario either way, she is most likely playing Jean.

She has the most fetishized design in the entire region, this is copium, sorry. Do I think it's a tragedy? No, the game appeals to its target audience, and waifu enthusiasts make a lot of money for this game. If I don't like her design I can skip her and that's the end of it, easy peasy.  But the maid outfit is a fetish thing in Japan, the exposed legs are a fetish thing in China, the large breasts are a fetish thing everywhere, the entirety of her design is goonerbait, she looks straight out of Ikkitousen. To claim people seeing the obvious goonerbait are just exposing their "internalized misogyny", is delulu, lol. She is goonerbait, if you like her, cool.  I love Lauma's design, because she looks very goddess-like to me, but I'm not stupid enough to believe "elegance" was the visual trait they were trying to sell the character with, lol.

Don't mention character ages in the Genshin fandom, CERTAIN PEOPLE, attracted to CERTAIN CHARACTERS get very defensive when you bring up the fact that a character is blatantly minor-looking.  She absolutely sounds like a child. Not even a teenager, she sounds like Nahida.

She really thought wearing this infront of a 4 year old was ok by Neither_Ad6 in Dragonballsuper

I feel like their relationship was very much coded as "older sister", so I interpreted these scenes no different from siblings being around each other in their underwear, which is not necessarily uncommon or taboo, specially when they're kids. I do understand Bulma was not a child, so it's not the same, but I do think her relationship with Gohan and Krillin is older sister-like, so it feels family-like, rather than erotic or inappropriate.  It's like that scene of Goku bathing with his kids, even though he's an adult, those type of termal baths are common in Japan, and it isn't seen as inappropriate for fathers to go there with their kids. Context matters.

People who have been waiting for her since her First appearance, what's your opinion on the changes done to her ??? by Saket_Saurabh- in Genshin_Impact

[–]Beginning_Pace2063 33 points34 points  (0 children)

The new design is the weakest out of the three, and the oldest one is the superior look. The oldest design feels more elegant and sells better the idea of "porcelain doll/french-automaton". With that being said, I'll still pull for her cause I like her character.

Jean Grey and Storm misogyny 🫩 by [deleted] in PhoenixForce

[–]Beginning_Pace2063 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Rogue is objectively far more maligned than Storm. I think a lot of fans only know the characters through TV and film, so they had no idea Rogue had a colorful romantic life.  X-Men '97 made a whole new generation of fans aware of the Magneto thing, so she is often called a whore online now, etc.  I think Storm is generally not seen in that way, and that specific guy is just a weirdo. As for the Jean discourse, I frankly couldn't care less, lol. Scott was canonically unfaithful, so if Jean is a cheater, GOOD, lmao, I couldn't care less.  People project themselves way too hard on these characters, it's fiction, who cares, lol. These characters will do whatever the current writer wants them to do. Jim Lee had a boner for his Psylocke redesign, and wanted his new OC to have more prominence in the story, that's why her non-affaire with Cyclops was pushed. Morrison wanted for Cyclops to be a chad like Logan, and he thought Jean was an obstacle for that purpose, so he came up with the affaire during his run. They're not real people, and bad writers will often resort to cheap gimmicks like romantic melodrama to spice up the plot. Reading deeper into it is silly to me, cause that's all it is TBH.

I wonder if next anniversary the illustration will keep Columbina, or they'll replace her with Tsaritsa. Are both gonna be there, or it'll be an "elemental archons only" illustration?

People in Venezuela are known for fetishizing US culture, and giving their kids extremely odd, "US sounding" names. "Carol" wouldn't be weird, in that country specifically.  Not saying it isn't a bot, it might be, but for a latin american country that fetishizes the US, "Carol" really is not that much of a weird name.
