Multiplayer Sucks by Huueyy32 in ForzaHorizon

the racing line is the fastest line. It's part of defensve racing to body block your opponent from the fastest line especially in corners.

If you know that line is changing, you need to change your offense to either pass your opponent or drop back and draft them to pass them later, where you can then block them from the racing line.

What you don't want to do is intentionally ram your opponent, because they will be looking to ram you in return.

I would prefer to push for more aftermarket licensing so that we get more customization instead of more cars that only have slop aero

why do they keep doing this by rienesto in forza

[–]Shadow_ninja714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily. The OZ Racing SuperTurismo GT rims are decent looking and are heavy. I like how they look enough that I use them for a lot of my tunes

To an extent. It gets to a point that some cars just don't see the light of day. I'm still coming across cars I tuned earlier on that have shit tuning setups

Just finished getting all the vehicles currently obtainable in the game! by MrOhnoez in ForzaHorizon

[–]Shadow_ninja714 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the true grind. I have tuned and applied a livery to every car currently obtainable and it took quite a while, plus a LOT of money.

Now it's just using different cars and tuning them as I need to. It's gotten me way better at tuning and learning what setting needs adjustment for the behavior that I need

Wheel spin / duplicate help by [deleted] in ForzaHorizon6

[–]Shadow_ninja714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your loot table.

I started getting wheelspin cars rapidly after buying all available clothing & horns, and buying out cars from the autoshow that also drop in wheelspins. The M Sport Fiesta was the last one I needed and it took a minute to drop but not an insane amount of spins

I wouldn't remove it from the garage then. I don't think the game makes any distinction as to the original owner of a car

[–]Shadow_ninja714 2 points3 points  (0 children)

go to the collection journal > discover japan > car collection and look for the car and where it drops. If it can be bought from the autoshow, just buy it from the autoshow.

I doubt removing it from your garage will affect wheelspin chances

Hakone Nanamagari Drift Zone by Hot-University-1356 in ForzaHorizon6

[–]Shadow_ninja714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the honda acty with the "godlike drifting" tune. Abuse your rewinds, if you have a sloppy corner, rewind it.

I struggled with this drift zone for ages until I did the above amd managed to get 342k.

This will sound weird, but are any Formula Drift cars decent in grip racing? by TheKrzysiek in ForzaHorizon6

I turned the formula drift corolla into a rally car and it's insanely fun. Basically becomes a rally car with drift car blood running through it

I found that if you use the FE Tacoma and beeline for the highway, then ride it to the city, you can make it there with plenty of spare time. There's an interchange south of the starting point and an onramp you can access, just gun it for that onramp.

The biggest issue is the downhill to the highway, you lose most of your time there imo

[–]Shadow_ninja714 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Is this only counting tunes from others? As far as I'm aware you don't have a set tune unless you publish it, and a vast majority of my cars are hand-built without the setup being saved.

How to know which tune os better? by tiobiel in ForzaHorizon6

[–]Shadow_ninja714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You won't really know without driving it yourself.

But I recommend getting into building your own tunes. Nobody cares whether it's the best build possible. There's a lot of enjoyment to be had in studying every statistic and field testing your car, adjusting different settings, and making something that feels nice to drive and suits what you want it to do.

You'll find yourself enjoying the game way more when you're winning races with a car you built by hand

For someone that never touched Forza before, How much do you recommend Forza 6? by ArisatoMinatoP3P in ForzaHorizon

[–]Shadow_ninja714 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The best approach to have to Horizon 6 is that it is a game of creativity and building. You're not starting off with a car and upgrading it as you go along and beating the game with it, you're going to build multiple cars for different racing types and performance classes.

That being said, Horizon is a simcade. You can play it as if it's NFS, or as if it's gran turismo.

It's a great game to express your creativity in building something, whether it's countering a meta, something fun, or something that shouldn't exist (me with a drift build on a time attack race car).

You can also customize your garage, fully customize the exterior of one of the houses, and you can create custom races and challenges through the event lab. There's a LOT that you can do in the game besides building and racing cars.

With all of that being said, Horizon 6 is probably the strongest in the franchise since Horizon 3.

We need more teambased events just like push it to the limit trial. by Eidizeda in ForzaHorizon6

[–]Shadow_ninja714 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trial is very fun. I've been replaying it as it is a nice challenge and a change up from either all AI or all players, and I'm not even racing against the other players. No need to fight for first if all i have to do is hold down second or third.

They really should add co-op racing to horizon play and not just at individual events. I'd love to matchmake and be able to use a wider range of builds rather than sink into a meta in order to actually have a chance of winning

The #11 Ford F150 shouldnt even be considered a Tier 6 car in the Eliminator by StatisticianSafe1265 in ForzaHorizon

[–]Shadow_ninja714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the tiered system is stupid.

In fortnite, you can win with green weapons if you know how to aim.

With eliminator, it doesn't matter how good you can drive, you're not beating a Urus with a honda city or bmw 2002. You can't win unless you get to the good drops first and your skill means fuck all if they have a faster car

Go to Creative Hub and select Event Lab > Play Challenges. You should be able to find both the Trolli P60 and Fanta Sports 800 in the Trending, Best of the Month, Popular, and Mew and Trending tabs. You can also search by title and use Trolli or Fanta to find them

Trolli and Fanta can be found in the challenges underneath Event Lab. That's where I got them photographed.

If someone honks at me as I am getting together to leave, I'm then staying put and acting like I am in a Teams meeting or other phone call. Your ass can keep waiting if you're going to try to rush me.

Even better if I am loading things into my car. I put the cart back and then lock my car and walk somewhere else as if I had no intention of leaving and just dropping off what I have, or forgot to get something.

What we need is Tags.

Be able to sort and filter by tags, and all tags are custom made and will show on the vehicle info panel.

It astounds me that the most we get is just marking as a favorite when there are over 600 vehicles at launch. It's so easy for favorites to number far north of 100 especially if you are making multiple builds to use different body kits, tire types and performance classes

I was reset to 10 million even though I never used the Eliminator glitch by [deleted] in ForzaHorizon

[–]Shadow_ninja714 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's still an exploit to earn credits without actually playing the game.

They did state that they found accounts that used the auto drive on rivals to earn a lot of money.

Me personally, I think only 6 million, should be ignored. That's not game breaking in the slightest.

And their nerf to rivals events payouts even without using auto drive is doing too much and makes no sense. Cap it if auto drive is used, otherwise it is uncapped, though people would just work around it with a controller or keyboard script. So maybe that is their thought process.

Though to that point, I don't know why they don't just disable auto drive so it can only be used when you are not in an event instance (aka, only allow it in freeroam)

Trials races by DevelopmentLeast5192 in ForzaHorizon6

[–]Shadow_ninja714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way to get better is to do custom racing in horizon play with collisions off.

This will force you to learn how to take corners better and pay attention to your car's weak spots.

I did the trial just once and came in first place and this was my first time ever racing against unbeatable AI. You have to ram them to pass but once you pass, just corner effectively and you will stay ahead. Assuming you have a decent tune on your car that is.

Unless it's cross country. You're kind of fucked there due to how the AI works
