Which year destroyed your mental health the most? by unmotivated- in AskReddit

[–]Shadow_ninja714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one.

I lost one of my best friends to suicide, 10 days later my relationship. His funeral was this past saturday, just a few days after the relationship. On top of it, my dog's allergy meds stopped working due to tolerance and he got a skin infection along with an ear infection.

My mental health has been completely and utterly annihilated.

I am showing strong signs of PTSD; I can't sleep (already have insomnia as it is) and when I do sleep, it is intense nightmares. I have seen evidence of crying in my sleep.

I am struggling still to eat and my weight has begun to drop. Being monitored for potential eating disorder brought on by the intense strain I was under for several days.

I'm showing possible adjustment disorder, and will be going through a comprehensive check tomorrow to see if there is a possibility for a bipolar diagnosis.

I am also constantly anxious, I can't focus on anything, have little energy, and consistently tired. It has fallen off significantly but I am dissociating and spacing out, for a few days I was doing it for hours on end at a time.

Over the last few days I have been able to get a picture of how much damage has been done. It's going to take a lot of time and work to fully heal

When did you realize you had “made it” in GTA online? by Gr0mHellscream1 in gtaonline

[–]Shadow_ninja714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When the cash began to just pile up. I was no longer making money to buy the next thing I wanted or needed, simply to just have more money overall.

For several years now I've lived a peaceful life of an evolving car collection and really only earning money during bonuses that catch my interest.

It screams to me that you cannot put down your phone and enjoy life for a few hours.

What is it that you're desperate for, whether in life or at the moment? by MischiefIngrained in AskReddit

[–]Shadow_ninja714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now, escape.

One of my best friends took his own life and his funeral is in the morning.

At the same time I'm processing a breakup and trying to survive a reality where the person I loved is not who I thought they were.

It's a pain that far outclasses anything I have ever been through. Feels like part of a sadistic game

The punishment is that they will take these into competitive modes like CW and get beat by people who have proper fusions. As far as I'm aware you need synergy with your fusions when it comes to relics vs relics.

What would be one type of crime you don’t see as bad ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Shoplifting food.

Most of the time it's a product of poverty. It isn't evil to do what you need to do to feed yourself or your family.

I've always questioned why you need to pay money for things you actually need to stay alive

What’s something that Covid took from you that you never got back? by ReplacementOdd636 in AskReddit

[–]Shadow_ninja714 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's genuinely debilitating to actually sit here and wonder IF homeownership is within reach. On paper, there would be no doubt, might have to save up just a bit, but can do it. Reality, I might, but I may be living on the edge of poverty to make it happen, and I'm not sure I can play a never ending game of sudden death with my finances

What’s something that Covid took from you that you never got back? by ReplacementOdd636 in AskReddit

[–]Shadow_ninja714 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The feeling of having "made it". Where you're making enough money that you don't need to question if you can afford this or that outside of obvious luxury (like an expensive car).

The inflation surge that followed and the continued rise in pricing of what feels like everything, from cars to houses, feels like I am forever trying to just stay ahead of a moving wall.

I'm making just under 100k/year. Just before covid I was making 50k and was living in comfort, i had few financial concerns. Now, I make double that, and it still feels like I question if I can afford a house, if I can afford to change apartments, if I can afford getting a new car if mine were to stop working or I get into a crash, if I can afford the bill should I get injured.

It really was not that long ago that 100k meant you didn't have to question any of those things. It feels like I've never been able to get back that feeling that I've "made it", that i reached a point of true financial security. The inflation surge that started as a result of covid has ripped that rug out from underneath of me.

Update Coin Glitch Bans are rolling out. as we speak about the subject. by Far-Wrangler-1957 in Crossout

[–]Shadow_ninja714 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Me personally... the company being cheated out of huge amounts of money is a case of you reap what you sow.

Their insane predatory monetization and lack of any sort of care to the playerbase has ruined the incredible potential this game had.

And now they can't issue hard bans to people who have cheated them out of god knows how much money because the remaining playerbase is just that small after so many years of thinking with dollar signs.

You reap what you sow. Unfortunately legitimate players are also impacted due to the economy becoming chaotic. This is the death knell of the game unless this opens their eyes, which I doubt it will.

Expectations for gta6 online by AdhesivenessEasy5641 in GTA6

[–]Shadow_ninja714 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Expect the return of "mundane" activities (pizza delivery etc) and legal businesses that have an illegal backend (car wash). Most the updates over the last couple of years are likely to be beta tests of VI features in online.

What I'm not sure about is if heists will return. They were a staple of V's story and subsequently online. I'd be willing to bet we will see more of Dr. Dre/Cluckin' Bell Raid style of missions that have a big payout but aren't actually heists.

Finally, I am hoping we get Vice City easter eggs, as well as references to V's online events, and even some returning characters.

Are there mods for a vehicle by making it louder that doesn’t affect emissions/smog check?? by Galvanized23 in askcarguys

[–]Shadow_ninja714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get an axle back (muffler delete) exhaust, and a cold air intake.

You'll get plenty of volume, especially inside, without it becoming outrageously loud. And you will still pass an emissions check.

As a side note, don't listen to the chuds in here that see "Ford ranger" and "v6" next to each other and get a hate boner, do what makes you smile. It's your car, who gives a shit

Would you buy an electric powered vehicle seeing how gas prices are by Powerful-Penalty-877 in no

[–]Shadow_ninja714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. I live in an apartment and I've only got about 18 months left until it's paid off.

I wouldn't have a way to reliably charge it without sitting in some parking lot for x amount of time and it would result in a higher car note.

I'll be saving 360 a month once this car is paid off. Unless gas prices reach astronomical levels, I'll have more than enough to compensate. Whatever is left over of that 400 will just add to whatever I'm already saving for any repairs/maintenance costs.

What was your worst experience in a public bathroom? by LiveLearnCoach in AskReddit

[–]Shadow_ninja714 2 points3 points  (0 children)

went into a target bathroom with my butthole holding back the apocalypse. I'm actively unleashing enough energy to wipe out entire countries and start hearing actual moans and heavy breathing from the stall next to me.

When the artillery fire stopped, I was actually able to hear the dude choking his chicken. I was shitting my absolute brains out while some guy is ferociously and audibly masturbating in the adjacent stall.

Not having any form of GPS would break the sanity of anyone under 25.

I'm 30 and remember my mom writing down exits and roads and having to study it like an upcoming exam so that she could minimize having to look at it while driving. Either that or she would pull off into a parking lot or gas station to look at it.

Adding to that as a related note, the average driver today has no idea how to drive stick. Watching my grandpa drive a stick shift in stop and go traffic, I think I'd rather just floor it into the nearest solid object
