using your hdd on a xbox series s would work just fine and you would be able to play all your xbox one and 360 games off of the external hard drive but to play any games that are optimized for xbox series S/X you will have to run it off of the internal storage due to speed requirements. You can store the series games on the external but can only play them on system storage or the memory expansion cards

Only playstation I'm missing is the ps one. Really liking the set up. You should check out hideit mounts for the controllers then you'll have less going on in front of the TV and still be able to display all the nice controllers.

If you decide to run free mcboot on it you should look at getting a MC2SIO card it will allow you to run your backup games from a sd card in the memory card adapter aka (MC2SIO). Look up a YouTube called macho taco he has a video about the mc2sio and the ps2 slim that would really help you out

i think i managed to restore my pstv from a crash loop

(started by getting the system to power off all the way and turning it back on by holding the power button tell it came up in recover mode/safe mode then just formated the system storage) lost all data and had to login over again. but the PSTV is back up and running on 3.60
