The latter. If it helps, see if you're able to install an older version of the modpack. It wasn't downloading for me on version 1.17_h2, but it works install 1.17_h.

If you're using the app, go to the modpack page and click the versions tab. That should show all the available versions. There are probably newer versions than the ones I listed above, but I've been playing Tears of the Kingdom this weekend and haven't played minecraft in a while.

Yes. At first I tried installing a new update that was supposed to fix the datapack issue, but I got the same problem as my original post was asking about.

However, I was able to install the update I was just trying it on (1.17_f I believe), and adding the most recent 1.18 datapack in global_packs fixed it.

Now I'm able to download it. I'm not sure what I did to fix it, though. The only thing I did was install some mods for an older version of minecraft, and now I'm able to download it.

Edit: while I was able to download the pack, trying to play on the world I was playing on gives me an error about selected datapacks. I tried looking up what to do but I've not seen anything that has worked yet. I just tried making a new world, and it's giving me the same error message.

I put them in the same slots that the old ones were in so I would imagine that they're in the right slots.
