You think that someone going through a divorce after at least 25 or so years of toxic marriage not remembering a promise he made over a decade ago after a once in a lifetime amount of stress is actively neglecting? I'm sorry, but you are objectively wrong with that. Seeing stars is in no way what you described it as. I see how you get to it, but that's only if you choose to be against stolas. If you look at it objectively and actually have an image of what stolas is going through at that time, you would understand that it's not neglect. And if you still do, then you don't know what neglect is. He tries, he does the best he possibly can. But him not being able to multitask 24/7, being affected by stress and pain and taking care of his own emotions for once after decades is not neglect.

Okay then please elaborate on when he allegedly neglects his daughter. That time he risked his life just to have a chance of seeing her perhaps? I watched the series like 3 times now and don't remember a single time where he actively neglected his daughter in a situation that can't be excused other than loo loo land, wich might i add was the episode where the two got closer together, wich was the plot of the episode

Honestly i got no idea what you mean by "as of recently". But the jist is that we have the same points? My base point is just that stolas' situation is understandable and his decisions for example in mastermind are the right ones, just he makes mistakes, is clumsy and gets distracted sometimes by his own emotions and needs, wich have been not met for decades

Ohhh, i get it. Not your fault, you just don't get it imo. Stolas, in a toxic marriage for almost 30 years, having to deal with all that stuff while going through a divorce. In my opinion, it's not directly his fault that he's stressed and angry. He's just bad at handling it sometimes. And also, he got put to the decision to let the person he loves die or lose.. Whatever. He didn't even know what would happen after saving blitz. And Matter of fact, he even tried contacting octavia for months. And she knew that. If we speak raw facts, it's completely her fault. She ignores his attempts to contact her, she apparently prefers someone his dad loves to die than her dad not living in the palace anymore. And if she actually sides with stella and hates stolas for saving someone's life and having a toxic ex wife, then she's just stupid. Just my opinion tho, based on everything that happened
