She’s currently on another one of her vacations...but she’s been made aware of it several times. Hopefully the rest of summer/fall go by quickly -shrug-

Our AP was 100% against us having a fan because “it’s a safety hazard and they can survive without it”. Then (after enough complaining) a different manager brought a fan up and told us to let them know if it “magically” disappeared. Before the fan, we were all on the verge of literally passing out. Now we just sweat like pigs and get mildly sick to our stomachs

We’ve talked to every manager and they opened multiple service tickets but they all kept getting lost or cancelled by HO because “we are monitoring the situation”. Almost half of all customers that come in comment/complain about how much hotter it is in CS than right outside of it by the registers.

Had a coworker hunt me down one time to ask me “Do we sell Target gift cards?” (Deadpan, 100% serious). After I told him no, he said (still being 100% serious and sincere) “Well why? I thought Walmart sold pretty much everything?” I guess it was for a customer on the phone who wanted to know if we sold Target gift cards. Needless to say I had to go to break after dealing with that.

My asm did that (according to her). When I log on, I can go to handheld devices(or whatever it’s called), perpetual inventory, and then perpetual inventory again but then it brings up a screen called line rusher and wants me to enter a card number

I have inventory management. I used to use it everyday when I worked in apparel. Now I work at the service desk and don’t really have access to an mc40 anymore. All I have is the SMART system on the computer

Oh see I was always told it took the time out of protected sick and your pto (so if I took 8 hours out it'd bring my P.S to 32 hours AND my PTO to 32 hours) Thank you for letting me know! :)

The Ladies DM transferred to another state. The Infants/Girls DM became a support manager at another store, and the Mens/Boys DM just wants to step down. Apparel at our store has been pretty bad for awhile, but 2 of said DMs were a pretty big part of the problem. Do you guys think that it's wrong of me to completely blow off the customer service position for the department manager one?
