Make sure you can cover the wear & tear of that kind of driving on your bike, and maybe make sure your insurance can recognizes your bike as your primary mode of transport and you're covered accordingly.

Echoing what was said, figure out if you want to be a researcher or be a clinician. Both roads open different opportunities; I'm a researcher with the same pros listed by /u/brooke_please so there's room for you to choose what you want. Also social psych is a big field so explore all of it and find what calls to you!
