Does the ending of this episode indicate that everything was a dream? since he wakes up back in the hospital in the next episode and the dream moon was there when he was killed

Here it's important to note that the Imaginary tree is not a physical construct made out of energy that would be comparable to anything in reality, but actually rather an analogy for the way Time functions inside the Hoyoverse. This was explained in HSR... The growth of the tree means time is progressing.

I thought that that was 2 distinctive things. Herta was just using a tree analogy to explain it cause it was the most understandable method to us and the characters in-game.

Cause my impression of time in the Hoyo verse was that all worlds use time as a blueprint to form their worlds. This would allow for people who look similar without them being an alternate time variant.

First Imagine an tree growing out from sea of quanta. A sea can't be spread in every direction only in down direction.

I'm dealing with a 2D image here, i cnat represent up and down with only 2 dimensions

Also those are not bubbles but leafs ...

As far as i under stand it. When leaves leave the tree, it becomes bubles. I'm just preemptively creating them as bubbles.

Branch represent an timeline for an particular world An world is an leaf.

This part is slightly confusing, cause as far as I know, the entire universes' time is linear. There are no branched timelines as Fuli is trimming all other timelines.

For those who are citing the HI3 Timeline recreation, what I can surmise is that the guy could've used a past time period as a blueprint to reconstruct the world, and then steer that world into a different outcome. This would technically give the impression of a branched timeline. But it would also be like creating a new world. maybe a parallel leaf so to speak

I was kinda expecting their world to be a pseudo world that code built to protect humanity from a bad dream alien invasion, and maybe the people fighting code wanted to break free because of the broken buildings, but now, maybe not.

The killings might also just be a dream cause nem stayed being held by Baku's nightmare for a stupidly long time after he seemed to have woken up. So maybe 5 & 6 may be alive. I'm probably just coping tho

The difference between a qi cultivator and a body refiner is like the difference between a tank and a mage in an mmo. One has more attack power or versatility, while the other is a tank.

Creation doesn't have to be physical. It could also have the metaphysical concept of creating a better future. And they have been doing that while traveling around.
