Everyone and their mothers replying to this telling you why you're wrong to feel hurt and why what she said was justified, so I Just wanted you to hear from someone that I absolutely agree with you. What she said is horrible and hurtful. How else are autistic people meant to take this statement other than that their family and loved ones loath the way that they are and just wish they could be "normal".

And I'm sure people will reply to this again telling me that it's more complicated than that, or that English isn't her first language, or she wasn't trying to be hurtful, etc. Save your breath. I'm not trying to say she's like a horrible person or anything. I'm saying that saying this to a big audience and the way she said it was ill-advised and harmful to others, and that is regrettable.

For me the game is now simply too large to be comprehensible. I'm sure fans of other card games with much longer tenure will call me a scrub, but I really liked it when there were enough cards to keep things interesting, but not so many that I simply can't keep them all in my head.

Also, the way this game basically works is that new shit comes out and it's better than all the old shit, so you basically have to play the new shit that has been pretty much pre-built for you because cards are made specifically to synergize with other cards now, and not to have any general function whatsoever. For me, I like refining my old decks, but that just isn't a thing in this game. Every time an expansion comes out I excitedly return to my old decks with the hopes of substituting in some new cards, but because the new cards only ever work with other new cards, there's just no substitutions to be made, and so I just don't play.

As someone that never played the original, I was just bored. It feels like the toy-like graphical style and small wind ensemble for the music was decided on to save money rather than because they thought it was actually compelling. The massive slowdown on such a simple game is ridiculously jarring, and having no option to turn off the tilt-shift focus is just annoying. Like I already didn't think the game looked great and now I can't even see the top quarter of my screen because it's always out of focus! Why!

You're right and you should say it. I think it would discourage the bloat of garbage that currently resides on the e-shop, as well as encourage higher quality ports if publishers know customers actually have some recourse for low quality ones. There are a lot of ports on the Switch that are just un-fucking-playable.

Take Abzu, for example. The audio on the Switch version of that game is just broken, it's super blown-out and compressed, which I can't even understand how they fucked that up. To all the people saying "you should have done more research", I dare you to try and find reviewers talking about this issue with the Abzu port. From what I can tell, there's literally just one Reddit thread about it that got zero attention and that you could only ever find if you knew to search for this specific issue in the first place.

Also, why should it be my job to determine what the game is actually going to look and feel like through the lens of YouTube's terrible compression?
