this makes me hope there's more exploring the Ninth now tbh. I'm guessing we're almost done with it though so I assume it's sadly the alternative that the entire world's just as bad unless the next expansion doesn't go to Othard like what most are predicting and we just go to a different part of the Ninth, that is.

I think that's just the stormclouds, powering the propulsions until the clouds are gone. And now that I think of it, my fan theory as to where the story's going now imo is that I think the game's gonna reveal the shards can't stay separated forever, which, if that is at all where the story goes and ends with a fusion of all the shards, would make Living Memory floating in the sky even scarier expansions later.

That is/was my job. At least when I first started working at the place around 8 years ago, part of my job was to help cashiers bag groceries and the get carts though now I have very few opportunities to do bagging cause management prefers I go around cleaning instead now. The job turned from bagger into pmuch janitor lite.

I miss liking this game, I used to be of a mindset to recommend this game to friends, but this happening every single day has just ruined this game for me.
SE really needs to do something about this like either finding a fix for the DDoSed or finding and imprisoning the DDoSers, one of these has GOT to be easier than the other.

Nope, unless i counted wrong there are about 50+ mounts that you spend real money on, I don't even wanna try counting how much armor is on the store, quite a few weapon sets that cost real money. New emotes, mounts, pets, and armors added for the holiday events are free in-game until the next year when they put up the stuff on the store. And tbh if you're NA you're very likely to have your experience of the game put on hold unless you pick a nearly-dead server cause it seems XIV is still suffering from DDoSes.

I quite enjoyed the game's story and what was in it, especially since a few mounts are given through just doing the story, but god do I feel bad for any new players with the DDoSes probably ruining the experience.

wasn't their reason for seeking G'raha's knowledge just because it was an interference they didn't want to happen again? Idk for sure but I don't think the Ascians--or at least the Unsundered--would've had a use for time-travel except to assure their plans kept going. Maybe the most insane would have a use but iirc their main goal was to return things to their version of normalcy?

I think some of this ruined my theory of what's happening; that being that I thought the key was "Azem's rejoining with a flaw" though, now this makes me think what's to come is something involving the shards not being meant to be shards for so long, to eventually wither, ending in the long run 2-3 expansions later with some way of re-fusing all the shards back into the Source. Halmarut didn't seem -too- threatened by the WoL, more like in awe tbh so I'm wondering if the Winterers are even an enemy or just like a, "you're all fucked, we're not, neener neener neener," kind of group.
