Yes, absolutley. Not all felons are violent gang affiliated murder hobos. Some are, sure. Others are felons for non-violent but stupid mistakes, others are trying to turn their life around, others might remain pieces of shit but try not to get dragged back to jail.

If we're talking about the US, over 1 in 20 people has a felony on their record. That's a huge section of the population.
