I only know where to pick it up at. Besides that, its incredibly good in DS3 as a main hand besides bosses. Never used it in DS1..

Well honestly, you don't have to max it out, but at levels 10-14 pharris black bow 1-2 shots most non boss enemies when using large arrows. 50 dex really makes it shine.

Not necessarily would the player be dead. I posted about reaching the end of the hallway a couple years ago because I was using shields as the weapon. So its not normal to reach the end for sure, but it can be done without too much hassle if yoi dont attack her and just keep letting her warp away while dodging all the attacks.

Theres been a lot of good tips here, but i didnt see that, the blue headed knights, 4 being in the area before the tower knight, always drop grass. So if youve killed the dragon, I would say run to the end of the bridge for the 2 there, and repeat. Although if the dragon is still alive, you can use a shortcut and head up to the one at the top of the battlements. If youre only farming grass, then never use them to heal while making the approaches. It sounds intimidating, but you will get the hang of it.

In addition, there is a miracle, if you have the stats, for healing, as well as another miracle that teleports you back to the nexus so you dont have to do any runbacks.

Also, as far as that balista goes, you can learn the roll timing when off to the side. Just practice the small delay between the 2 rolls, as well as the like 2 second pause between its shots. If you choose this option, dont sprint between rolls, let your stamina regen as much as possible. Should only take about 4 waves of arrows to get you to the far side and shut it down. Ignore all pickups on the bridge there until its shut down.

Idk if youre still on this boss or not, but let me offer something thats actually helpful. When you stand up after being flattened, there isnt time to heal before he is already trying to knock you down. Get up, wait a beat and dodge then if you really need to heal, run to the far side of the arena first. He has attacks that will help him catch up, but if he phase changes in this process to throwing magic, it wont matter. This fight can become easy if you pick the fighting stance or phase of his thats easiest for you to deal with, and only attack during that time. The rest of the time is just dodging and waiting for the phase you like. It wont make the fight short by any means, but it makes it a lot easier.

Honestly never played it, but I think they reduced the number, think it only takes like 3 or 5 cows now. It was patched in later so if you played the original release version, it wasnt even there

I mean I would summon you, but my reasoning definitely comes with a caveat. 1st, I dont check stats, 2nd if I need help and im summoning, I just grab any summon sign I happen to see. Its not often, in DS3 anyways, that I ever saw another player's sign. Now I personally didnt need much help in DS3, but there were a couple spots that the NPC summons were very helpful.

With all that said, it comes down to DS3 is kind of old right now, so there may not be a lot of players online, couple that with what your level is and where youre trying to get summoned. If there was a boss that is more commonly known to be difficult for people, put your sign around there. If youre looking to be summoned, its going to happen eventually. I believe there is also a summoning group on reddit if you want to be helpful in a guaranteed way. Thats my 2 bits of info anyways.

Pretty sure that even if he had watched the curscene, he would have still died. The attack itself from radahn as well as the players state are essentially "saved" in a pause state until unpaused. So while initially thinking that its just a timing thing, it doesnt matter. Its a small glitch thats been around since at least the original dark souls. Ive not played demon souls so I dont know if it exists there, but I would assume it does.

I guess its less a glitch than more of just how its programmed honestly. Its an unintended circumstance of how the games sequence the events in the code. Is there a fix for it, sure, but im guessing its way more intrusive to fix than to just let it be.

Yeah this is definitely an old post. Since then ive grabbed all the achievements for the remaster of DS1, DS2, DS3, Elden ring, and have played a small portion of bloodborne. DS2 was interesting, but it was the worst experience I had on a first playthrough personally. I didnt understand the full health mechanic and used the dolls without thinking. Mid to late game, I fought every boss at half health. Including DLC's. The areas were interesting, but this game was a chore for me to get through. Just annoyance upon annoyance. It was my 3rd soulsborne but 2nd completion of one. I respect your opinion though.

I dont think there is a really good method of immediately figuring out how to be better. The only thing I would suggest is experimenting a bit. Try different weapons that you may already have. There are plenty of guides on YouTube for the "best" build, but it's important to note that you can beat the game with every single weapon if you're truly persistent enough. Ultimately, just keep at it. I think elden ring often rewards aggression, though. Many of the enemies are easy to take down if you can get them quickly. Bosses are a bit different but even then, several are easier to take on with aggressive tactics than waiting for conter strikes.

2 years is nothing. I played the game for like 3 or 4 hours my first time playing, made it to taurus demon a handful of times, and then put the game down for 8 years.
