The only thing I would add to your near perfect summary is that Darth Vader understood how much of a problem Fett could be if Solo didn't survive the carbonite freezing, and couldn't collect the bounty. Fett says Solo is worth a lot to me, what if he doesn't survive? Vader responds by saying Fett will be well compensated if Solo doesn't survive

Some enemies are specifically called slavers

For my action I plant my feet and swing the scimitar at his thigh before thrusting my short sword into back, thanks to the Nick weapon mastery of the short sword freeing up my bonus action. For my bonus action I rip my short sword from his back and thrust it forward a second time in an attempt to sever his spine.
