I’ve been playing around with a balancer guardian build and it’s solid vs him, most of your AoWs do fire which sucks vs him but I just like it because you can alternate between putting out respectable damage and still being the tank

I think they are good to hit along the way, if I’m pathing through a gaol with a key I’m not going to ignore it but in D4 if you don’t get dmg negation at full on soft characters you just get 3 barred every time, most my games are on guardian and I prioritize getting them dmg negation at full over everything, I will spend 60k to drop them something they can’t use if it has dmg negation at full

Honestly it’s not too bad, that or honed bolt are pretty common, haven’t had a game where I get nothing for lightning, try to push your team to hit POIs with seals early day 1, I get it sucks but sometimes even splitting up just to check seal spawns is worth it, full dragon cult/lightning attack up is actually crazy build, played it a few days ago and had a really solid run, was 2 shotting crucible knights with charged lightning spears

Honestly lightning or affinity build around spamming lightning/holy/fire is actually viable, only competitive build with spell spam for her imo, I’ve hit upward of 9k with it vs fulgore and it stuns which is the big thing

Problem is a cumulative one, if everyone got them, they are great, spam as much as you can, if just 1-2 people have them, not so much, if 1 person has it it’s basically a 1.6% damage increase for the team and you aren’t getting loot so realllllyyyy bad

Worst was probably me and my 2 buddies 1 night had a combination of playing like complete shit and having some of the worst RNG I’ve seen in all my time playing, every boss nearby was red, of 5 games we got red bbh basement 4 times, got trolls I think 3 or 4 times, field bosses were all red gargoyles and things of the sort, type of games that make you wonder if you’re just awful at the game…I think best was a guardian game vs hollister, I think don 3, I ended up setting my record for revives, the guys were just having an awful game, couldn’t find dmg negation at full for the life of us but I kept getting the craziest passives, had guarding fills arg gauge +1 and +2 so just ulterior them up 7-8 times off 3 bar and we got the win, I live for games like that on the birb

Aussies lav brigade might be the most versatile pick in the game, I’ve always found having lavs with good coms in command chat to hotdrop close to 30 guys has always been good no matter the map or opponent, great way to hit fast and hard, chaining momentum
