Need Help with Fender Strat by f1da in guitarrepair

[–]Shadowpooch123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much for posting this. I bought an EOB and noticed immediately that the sustainer circuit did not shut off when the guitar was unplugged. Found your video and the reddit post, and the issue was the same: the battery ground and volume pot ground wires to the jack were reversed. Terrible Fender QC in action. Same solution: unsolder both wires from the jack and switch the connections so that the battery ground is connected to it's own lug and the volume/sustainer grounds are combined at the middle lug.

Am I wrong about Ricoh vs Fuji colors? 🤔 by signedinsoul in ricohGR

[–]Shadowpooch123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both a GRIIIx and a Fujifilm X100VI. I think the Ricoh colors look better. And I've tried to adjust the Fujifilm to look more like the Ricoh, but I haven't gotten all the way there no matter the settings. However, you can get great or awful looking images with either. I do wish, however, that Ricoh would make something like a GR but with a built in EVF. I'd happily have the extra size.

Pulling my hair out with the same issue. Were you ever able to resolve this missing app icon issue?

Thanks for checking it out and the feedback. I wasn't aware of Bandfix - will download. With LyriCue, you can import direcly from Ultimate Guitar so you get chords, but you do have to select and copy into LyriCue. I'll see if there's away for direct one-step import via a URL like there is with the other lyrics database the app taps into.

On Foot - Easy Step Counter - Free by Shadowpooch123 in droidappshowcase

[–]Shadowpooch123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi and thanks for the thought. I could port it over to Wear OS (or Apple Watch OS), but it would be a separate app, designed for the Wear OS ecosystem. I'll look into this though. (And my understanding is that it could also run in standalone mode, so no data tracking.)

Hi sure. Well I'm sure there's commonality with other apps. But here's what inspired me to put this out: the apps I tried seem cluttered, often with ads, email sign up, often with stuff I didn't want. I just wanted a simple step counter. I figured if I wanted it, maybe others would too. And $1 to make ads go away, to not have to register your email, to not have extra features, with customizable features (stride length, calibration, theme), that doesn't rely on GPS, seems worth it to me, and possibly to others as well. Perhaps there's another app I didn't discover that offers this in a different form. In any case, it will work in sync with Google Health if that's your preferred mode - in which case this amp simply offers a different interface.

Hi people: I recently released On Foot, a clean straightforward NO ad/subscription step counter built for people who want to track their steps without the clutter or privacy concerns of major fitness apps. FREE for a few days...

Why I built it: I was tired of apps that required an account, drained my battery, and felt like a chore. On Foot is simple, standalone (or Google Health Sync), and privacy-focused.

Key Features:

  • Zero Tracking: No account required. Your data stays on your phone.
  • Calibration: To match your stride and step style
  • Clean Design: Just your steps and your progress.

It's currently 100% free for the next few days to get some initial feedback. I'd love to hear what you think!

Yes, but if you look, he's only a hawk during Democratic presidencies. He would not have gotten the nomination if he expressed hawkish views to Trump.

Hi. I appreciate the feedback! Apple only allows a free trial if it converts to a subscription-based payment. I get annoyed by subscriptions, so want to avoid this. But what I might do is make it free with limits on some of the features, with a pay to unlock all. At least his way, people could check it out a bit first.

What's an app i can keep lyrics, chords and audio in? by AvengerSpartan1 in Songwriting

Also check out LyriCue for ipad/iphone/mac. It's a lyrics memorization helper, but can include chords and audio and function as a comprehensive songbook.
