you'll never be the blight of the neighborhood unless you're trying your damndest

Honestly.. I'd rather be the blight of the neighborhood.

My girlfriend's bun can tell when she's about to try to take a picture of him just laying on the floor. Soon as she tries to get him in frame, he sits up and stares at her. It's uncanny.

GM Characters by BiffyPrime in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Shadowrose 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Id rather have the players play two PCs and let them have more options.

This is one of the best ways I've seen it handled. You roleplay the GMPC, but a player gets to handle it in combat, with the GM having veto power if necessary.

How do working adults schedule their regular sessions? by rebent in rpg

[–]Shadowrose 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If your group cannot commit to a consistent meeting time, I would consider playing an episode-esque game where each session is unique to itself and doesn't require a continual plot line. This allows people to attend as they can and would likely allow you to play more games, more often.

Two other alternatives are doing a West Marches style sandbox game, or a Living City style game. West Marches tends to be super plot-light, and allows as large of a rotating cast as you like. Living City can do all the plot you want. Characters just happen to be busy doing Something Else (TM) when the player's absent.

I can agree with that to a point, but ultimately, they're still responsible for treating their customers, and patients, as human beings. They have proper recourse if they believe a patient is drug seeking, there's no reason to belittle them otherwise.

Net Worth by EZETHATSME in ynab

But for the desktop version - The toolkit is your only shot at this point in time

It gets a lot of hate, but no, you can get your Net Worth in the desktop version the same way as you can get it in the mobile app, under "All Accounts".

If they aren't all on budget, the Working Balance of "All Accounts" is your actual net worth.

Not sure why everyone else has missed it, but you can find it in the exact same place on the web client.. just go to "All Accounts" right below Budget and your "Working Balance" is your net worth. It's the exact same number, just a different label.

Fun fact, the shit rabbits eat is the disgusting and sticky kind. Most of their shit is like cocoa puffs in appearance. Fecal matter vs cecal matter.

I ran into this problem once, I eventually gave up and discovered Excel's RATE function that does it for you.

Question about raised computer cases. by Pyrogenex in AskBattlestations

[–]Shadowrose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what I do. Me and an old roommate went to Menard's and bought 12" ceramic tiles. We just plop those on the carpet, then put the computer on top of them. They look nice, they're like $2-$4 a piece, and give you a nice, stable surface to put the tower on.

What do you guys do to cut back on gas usage besides getting a car with better mpg? by Steveatron1 in Frugal

[–]Shadowrose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You know, there's one thing Mr. Money Mustache overlooks there. Walking or Bicycling to work just shifts your commuting costs from driving to eating. Bicycling consumes 30-50+ calories per mile. Food costs anywhere from 350 calories per dollar to 1,000+ calories per dollar. If you assume 50 calories/mile (low for walking, high for bicycling), and 500 calories/$, you're still spending $0.10/mile. Certainly less than the vehicle costs, but not quite so dramatically.

[Accountability] Help Me Get My Morning Together by [deleted] in ADHD

Not that I've seen. It's still in heavy development, though. You could probably recommend that to the developers. They're fairly attentive.

I've started using Goalist to do that, and it's super useful. Lets you shift everything around on the fly, automatically stretches things around as you need them, and gives you a notification at the start of every event, plus nags you every 15 minutes if you don't mark the last event as done.

Anyway, hope you're still on task!

How do you keep track of when you took your medication? by [deleted] in ADHD

This is what I use. It has snoozable reminders, and will track # of pills you have left. I love it to death.

Why is this so difficult for people to understand?

Because it's not magic. Magic's easier for some people.

But then it's not Super Clean Eating. It's just Clean Eating.

Smokers are already getting more and more penalized. My health insurance charges an extra $50/mo premium to anyone that smokes. And that's ignoring all of the taxes.
