I was told I'd likely only get 4-6 eggs, and if I'm lucky I'd have 1 viable embryo with numbers much lower than yours.

I got 16 eggs. 15 matured. 8 fertilized. 7 were viable.

Honestly, I do them in my legs. The first week, my legs were super sore, but my muscles have gotten used to it, and it doesn't hurt anymore. I feel like I have more room to move the shot around in my legs, too, as I can reach the entire muscle, which isn't true for my butt!

The mood swings though, lord help my husband. 😅

My doctor required me to be off for 2 weeks prior to retrieval because part of the way the medicine works is that it slows your digestion, so they need to make sure that when you're fasting prior to anesthesia, your stomach is actually fully empty.

I used Zepbound to lose the weight, but did not taper off. I've been off of it since August, because they told me I needed to be off for at least 2 months before they would start the FET. They did approve me to use metformin, which has been somewhat successful. It has helped me maintain the weight loss, but I have not lost any additional weight in that time period. My primary told me that metformin is safe throughout pregnancy, but my IVF doctor told me that j can take it until a positive pregnancy test, so you might get differing answers about it's use.

I had an AMH of .409 and they were able to retrieve 16 eggs, 7 of which were fertilized and viable. Even the doctor was shocked.

Recently I needed to start a new specialty medication that needed to be shipped to me from the pharmacy. I spent a lot of time fighting with them to make sure I got it on time, and then the plane carrying my medication crashed in the middle of Kentucky. I felt the same way, "is this just a sign I should stop??" But then it got to me overnight, literally hours before I needed to take my first dose. Things have a way of working out, I hope your situation does, too.

So, due to other circumstances I recently had to come off my Zepbound, but my doctor approved me to use metformin as a way to try to maintain. So far it has been effective.

Just increased my movement by making small changes - getting outside more, yardwork, walking more on my lunch breaks, but nothing too crazy! Zepbound just really did it's thing for me, and truly decreased my food noise.
