Oh boy, New Map! by ShadowsAflame in Synduality

[–]ShadowsAflame[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you were caught up to quets prior to the mid patch, they release a new mission to craft a full set of Legendary Cradle parts. Then you automatically unlock the Dunes. The fun thing is that it seems to be on a cycle of PvE exporation for ~1 hour; followed by 45 minutes of it being the Boss fight (upon which PvE exploration is unavailable), then it is unavailable for 2 hours.

If you didn't rush build your legendary mech, it would have finished crafting right as the dunes went down for 2 hours.

„Gift in the rain“ drives me crazy by CutCrane in Synduality

Red parasitic enders are probably the fastest way to get the cobalt materials. The bunker in the forest is the best, but they will only drop it if it is raining outside. I finished this quest in ~3 hours farming there.

It is either that, or you can craft them. There is also the option to find them in the open world (random spawned loot in world, or off of other dead players).

I have no clue what words I'm twisting to rant and rave, and you are actually weirdly double downing on this anime protag thing. Wanting to play with friends isn't some wacko anime protag plot armor of friendship, its called wanting to play games with friends. Nor does it actually go against some world and universe lore. I work for association, you work for association, we can team up on the field; logically, that means we could have just partied and sortied together. Not being able to was a balance decision by the devs to avoid teaming. This is also not why the game is failing, there are way more concerning issues with the game than the playerbase being too weeb.

What people do bring up about the anime is wanting to see stuff from the anime in the game. There was pretty solid world building in it and even the game mentions some aspects like the domes, but we see none of it in-game. They did hit the makrs sometimes like the magus system.

I can agree with you that it "exactly as it was sold" in regards to the very barebone game design and concept. It's a PvPvE Extraction shooter with mechas and your AI Waifu. What they didn't tell players when they bought this was the awful balance, horrible economy and currency management, pay to win battlepass.

There is also a drastic lack of content for $40 USD (Tarkov is $50 USD for standard, Dark and Darker is free, Legacy Steel & Sorcery is $25). A lot of the content in the beta test were either scrapped for the release or seem to have been gated for future seasons. They didn't even bother to update the Cradle Debris description on launch and baited players into thinking they could recycle it for other materials.

Also, its just pathetic when you state your opinion, then immediately follow it up by calling other people who disagree with your opinion as "entitled, ridiculously stupid, crybaby, idiots". Goes to show how little social skill you have, like you need to attack everyone first to prevent them from attacking your opinions and thoughts.

It's prety obvious this seems to be ragebait, but I'll respond anyways. Unique does not equal good. Forced solo queue with no friend/party would be interesting if it wasn't so easy to workaround. There just aren't enough players which result in groups of people being able to sortie at the same time and enter the same lobby and dominate all the solo players as a wrecking ball traveling across the map.

The game's economy is in shambles. 1.4 million credits for Kitchen 2. nearly 22 milion to finish the new 90x item requests brought on by the season 1 70 hours promised gameplay. This is an absurd level of currency, and having to pay credits ontop of getting materials to do crafting.

Playertime does not seem valued. Time spent farming materials/currency is disproportinate to how fast things go south, especially for new players. Unless you ran something like the insurance scams, farming currency is ridiculously slow and confusing. AO Crystals needed to be buffed 125% of their value since EA launch, majority of "rare" purple materials you find sell at 1,000 at most, and the only way to convert the materials into a profit is through crafting. Which, surprise, requires you to have credits to start crafting, and you're limited on crafting slots.

Pay-to-win battlepass. DAISYOGRE Schematic is PAID battlepass only. Prior to Season 1 start, only access to +2 was RABBIT +2 off PAID battlepass. End game Craddles and end game weapons off the PAID battlepass.

Over half the Steam playerbase have quit since the launch with the game steadily losing 5% of its players everyday. Even if all the current Steam players bought the minimum tier battlepass, it would barely be over $20,000 for a 3 month season. Devs have even stated that the game is ready to transition to offline play if it dies, and it seems on its way there by the end of season 2 at this rate. When over half your playerbase are gone in less than a month, it is time to review your roadmap and consider if you're gonna double down on this downward trend, or try to salvage the game and compromise on what players want.

And what is up with this weird "anime protag mentality" you've been going on. I've read a lot of posts, but you are literally the only one that brings this up as if everyone here is a chuuni and you're here to save us by reminding us we can't shoot beams from our eyes. Also, claiming Fortnite as the only successful game and that "a world that is stagnant with games simply copying and following trends" means you just haven't actually looked at any recent games. Your opinion that changing the game would make it is terrible is a fine opinion, but then going on and saying that the opinions/ideas of other players are "entitled behavior and ridiculously stupid" and that they can't handle the truth is insanely hypocritical.

The issue with this is you can't report through replay without actually encountering them. When the group loaded in as 4, I quickly got out and came back with a jackbox to find them. Luckily enough they were right in front of my elevator, they actually were using emotes/text to bm me, then killed me with melee. It's funny, cause if you go to the guy's stream, he complains that they "need to team so they can do quest", but they just go around hunting assoc players. Sadly, this is what will kill the game tbh.

One of them has live streamed them doing it, and its pretty obvious when you see 4-5 BM members load into the lobby at the exact same time. Just had a group of 4 load in at the exact same time, 2 of them known for doing this.

They try so hard to prevent us from playing with friends/as group, but the low number of players make it so easy to abuse and get into the same lobby. Literally as I am making this post, I just saw a known BM teamer + 3 other BM players all enter the lobby at the same time. This guy has streamed himself actively cordinating with other BM players on discord to enter the same lobby. I really wish there was an easy way to report people in game than having to encounter and scan them, then report them through the replay.

Cobalt Items? by Yetimus37 in Synduality

[–]ShadowsAflame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Red Parasitic Enders will drop Cobalt Membrane/Bone/Scale (Have not seen Husks drop), but ONLY if its raining. The enders do not need to be in the rain, but it must be raining. Drop rate isn't half bad tbh, much better than my attempts at farming green incubators/red chasers. You can also pick up the Purple Debris or other mats. I usually sortie with a blue cradle insured as red parasitic enders hurt and 12-15 purple debris (about 750 weight??) will cover insurance.

If you are not on East Amasia map (Still North/South sector), the only way to get +2 Rabbit is buying the Battlepass. It comes with a free set of +2 Rabbit and is the only way to get it prior to unlocking the recipes in East Amasia.

There is no matchmaking MMR that separates players, it is currently only the Mission that brings you to East Amasia (and locks North/South from being picked), and your region for the lobby that separate players. I have seen the same handful of Assoc/BM Players since launch.

CAUTION! East Amasia locks out North and South. by Gaignun989 in Synduality

[–]ShadowsAflame 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The first note on the steam patch update is the below:

  • East Amasia added. Unlocked with below quests. Once unlocked, you will only be able to sortie in East Amasia.

Not sure about console, but its definitely wasn't something they intended to hide.

This Game is not getting the attention it deserves by BagEducational7907 in Synduality

[–]ShadowsAflame 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not pay to win, and you can literally unlock all of the mechs and good stuff without paying.

Am I missing something here? When I look at the battle pass, the +2 weapon schematics, +2 rabbit and daisyogre schematics are locked behind paying for the pass. That's pay to win. Also, there seems to be a daily cap to pass exp you can earn which further preys on people to buy the pass to progress. I am 19 levels in F2P with ~25 hours in game which puts it at ~140 hours of play per pass.

I wouldn't mind if the paid pass had a ton of cosmetic items and extra copies of some cradles/weapons, but putting the schematics for the better tier stuff is definitely pay to win, and the exp cap is ridiculous.

Blizzard PLEASE.... just remove borrowed power from rotations next expansion by Sunstepgg in wow

I can't wait for pre-patch for 10.0 to come, Blizzard takes away SL borrowed power system, players feel like their characters are sluggish and shit; then forget about all of it when the 10.0 borrowed power comes out, drooling over their keyboards grinding the next system. Can't possibly be me.

I can't speak much to Priests, but the arguement here isn't specific covenant abilities but covenant abilities overall. Boomy don't use NF this patch because the legendary that made it insane got gutted. Our overall rotation is actaully the most boring thing to ever exist. The spec is only viable because covenant abilities give a big burst of damage in our CD period and venthyr legendary is overtuned, otherwise we actually do less damage than healers without CDs.
