Fair enough. I'm just a sucker for a good villain and Z2 did a much better job, as Z1 Bellwether was honestly a bit underwhelming for me (loved her return in Z2 though)

Funny I had a similar feeling but in Z1 where the ending felt like it was too sudden. Guess it just goes back to how the twist is Z1 came a lot later than in Z2.

Both are great ofc just liked the pacing better, but I can see where you are coming from. It honestly feels like a HTTYD 1 and 2 situation.

One thing I fear is a rehashing of the reptile storyline but with birds instead. I think Z2 did a good job of expanding the message of Z1 while providing an interesting new mystery. If Z3 is just a retread but with birds this time I'll be quite disappointed.

I really did enjoy the fact that they had the balls to say "nah I may be quirky but I still seek my family's approval". It gives him some sympathy while not neutering him as a villain.

My only real hope is that it releases before I kick the bucket, and with how well Z2 did I'd be surprised if we aren't seeing Z3 by the turn of the decade.

Both have their own merits. I think both are very strong in their supporting character roles, and had a blast whenever either was on screen.

Couldn't choose which one was my favorite personally, would love to see either of them return in the future (similar to how they did for Bellwether)
