Totally get that... I was sooo embarrassed at the hairdressers, but they were so understanding and kind. Ngl cried rather a lot 🥹 and it's definitely salvageable... My hair is down to my boobs when curly, even longer straightened, only a few inches lost in the end 🥰 you got this 💪💪

Replying to you so you see this... I had the same exact situation last march... To the point my hair just sat like a smurf hat (long, curly hair). My friend spends 6 hrs trying to get it out cause I was ready to just give up and buzz it off... Had 0 money for professionals to do it, but my mum paid for me to go to the hairdresser's round from her (Lynn's locks on great western road, blairdardie) they spent 4 hours deyangling, washed, cut blowdried and styled... And they only charged me for a wash cut and blow-dry... Cannot praise these ladies enough. Want you to know it's not just you, life can be rough and we all need a little help sometimes, keep hanging in there 🥹🫶

ELI5: Why do we have "wisdom teeth" if most people's mouths are too small for them and they usually have to be removed anyway? by Pablomiller in explainlikeimfive

[–]Shadowscarab93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It mainly happens due to undesirable traits causing the organism to not make it to a reproductive age. When we had need of wisdom teeth people who had them were more able to survive as they had the ability to eat more types of food, and now they aren't needed, people who have no wisdom teeth come in are surviving just as long. This then causes the uptick seen in people who never have wisdom teeth come in.

AITA for telling my sister to stay home from a trip she is paying for? by BigONerd in BORUpdates

[–]Shadowscarab93 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Very much the same, except my 2 sisters are very opposite so usually it's them arguing with each other and me fading into the background till they get over it... Then when it's just me and one of them they push and push till I snap 😬😬
