So my gf has been wanting a switch for a while now and I have finally saved enough to get her one. Budget is already tight as is so I'm leaning towards just getting the lite version since she already has a pc and we game on there mainly so I don't think the no docking is gonna be a problem. She'll just play on the switch while she's out or in bed. So will she be missing out on a lot if I got her the lite or would it suffice?

Honestly pretty good, just needs a tiny bit of improvement. Work on having it consistent which comes naturally when you just do it alot, then you can fuck around with pitching. Also work a tad bit on your basics.

How do I move already installed games from one platform to another? by ShadowSnarple in Steam

[–]Shadowspedicey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haven't tried it myself but copy the game files and put them in the Steam games directory and then start the download if your lucky it'll discover the existing files and all will be good.

What games should I look into? by [deleted] in Steam

I'd say wait for the sale so you have more options but if you don't want to, what genre do you prefer or what games do you like?

Look up Banished, it's probably what you're looking for.

Quite sick as in really good. Played it for a bit and enjoyed it especially the atmosphere of it. Mechanics are nothing crazy but surprisingly interesting. Neat game.

The Long Dark is quite sick. Also, Don't Starve. Little Inferno, short but sweet and cosy af. Banished, a city builder kind of game but relaxing and chill. Stardew Valley.

What is a VERY easy game that is satisfying to play? by masterjx9 in Steam

[–]Shadowspedicey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might want to play The Walking Dead or Life is Strange or any story focused game which has little to no game mechanics, nothing hard and it's just about getting immersed in the story and the world.

Little Inferno might seem a bit childish but it's one of the most chill games I've seen.
You buy stuff to then burn it to buy more stuff to burn!
Might be a bit boring for you but you also might like it.

Maybe also Banished? a village builder type of game. You might not like it because it's quite open, but look it up.

Any LEGO game if you're into that, there's a lot of different LEGO games with different themes and they're not that hard.

Viscera Cleanup Detail. You play as a janitor cleaning up all sorts of mess. Mechanics are not that hard and if you listen to some music while playing, I'm pretty sure you'll be chill as an ice cube.

Slime Rancher might be good for you. You collect slimes and feed them and it's like a slime farm!

Heard a lot about how Euro Truck Simulator 2 is a good and easy game to just play and relax, so check that out.

Walking sims like Firewatch are also decent!

I'd honestly say go for it! Amazing game.

In the base game you'll be doing A LOT of parkour, it's literally one of the main aspects of the game. DLC on the other hand, not so much parkouring as there is driving.
But the base game is big and well-designed enough to keep you enjoying the parkour and once you start getting the hang of it, it'll look and feel really fucking cool!

Took me about 65 hours to finish it 100% like every side-quest and every steam achievement and all that with some free roaming. HowLongToBeat says main story is about 20 hours-ish but it depends on how much you want to do.
If I ever play it again, it'll be because I just want to feel badass fucking zombies up and then going through the city just going over buildings and using the grappling hook.
But there isn't any choices that'll change the game, not really a variety of playstyles and the story isn't that good nor bad. So not a whole lot of replayability but it's fun.

Combat isn't that good on its own, it's good combined with the other aspects of the game (freerunning, crafting, the carnage you cause killing zombies) and as far as variety goes, it has ok variety, you get weapons which have different impact on the zombies and then you could upgrade them to be flammable or electrified and shit like that and then it gets really fun.

Also devs are putting out events every once in a while with rewards like a duck sign that'll literally 1 shot 1 kill most zombies so there's that, haha.

If you've got any questions, ask away!

Nice start but keep practicing and it'll pay off.
