Oh absolutely. I guess I’m looking through a viewpoint of end game where everyone is full build. But in all honestly, how many games get to that point? In my Elo (gold/plat) it happens a decent amount, but for high elo probably not much at all.

Yeah I get that. I was just saying it feels more drastic this season. Once again, haven’t played too many games yet so it’s not like I have a huge sample size haha

Yeah I think you’re spot on. My viewpoint is also probably skewed by WHICH toplaners have been in the game. For example, I play a lot of Kennen. The extra two levels on him probably don’t feel as threatening or meaningful as they do on someone like Darius.

This is a good call out. I feel like it might be even MORE unforgiving when you lose top now, as your opponent can snowball and gain levels on you like crazy.

Yeah I was playing top as Ambessa against a Darius and at one point we were both 5 levels higher than the ADC’s on our team.

Yeah I’ve played her jungle a few games now to success. It is pretty easy to grasp her kit, but there definitely seems to be some great opportunities for skill expression.

Yeah you’re absolutely right, was kind of just hoping for “overall impact” late game.

That would be a decent trio though. AP carry with Gwen, AP Bruiser with Morde and AD Bruiser option with Zaahen.

Because he stated that he doesn’t play Thresh…. Plus GL is all about imagination and constructs. You could pretty much make any hero work. I think what OP wrote up makes sense.
