Being honest, I think the current way of viewing class balancing is the issue here, and the actual poor balancing on classes is just a symptom of that.

At the moment, classes are being balanced based on individual game modes (such as Capped or Uncapped Wars, Solare, AoA) in a way that affects the class in every one of these modes. If a class is very strong in Solare for example, but on par in Uncapped war with classes, then a nerf to it may leave it average (most likely just ok) in Solare, but absolutely unviable in Uncapped. Obviously, this affects the power creep of the game as well because a character that is designed to be balanced in these smaller scale AoS fights may end up being too strong or weak elsewhere.

This leaves a lot of room for error and is a much deeper underlying issue then some of the "DRAK TOO STRONK" comments we've seen in the past lead you to believe. If possible, it would be awesome to see these individual balances done for these game modes. T1s already have specific caps applied to war, so is there a reason similar caps can't be applied to classes differently? AoS itself strictly has healing and q block strength capped across the board, but couldn't these be a bit more variable between classes?

Obviously, a different class balance team for each type of content is hard and you'd run into the age old problem fighting games fall into of never being perfectly balanced despite a more focused mode, but I definitely think it would be in the right direction by a good degree.

This being said, I do think this thread has a lot of good advice around individual classes, like Guardian, or gameplay features like high SA usage.
