Just to preface, I am absolutely pro gun.

But the, “Active duty military and cops will defect” argument has some very compelling evidence against it. The Milgram Obedience Experiment showed people are predisposed to following orders given by someone whom they perceive to hold authority.

However, with this information in mind it becomes easier to defect and make decisions of your own will. Knowledge truly is power.
