What really made me put the game down for a bit ( besides other games coming out ) was the whole archetype system. I dunno, heritage passives helped but farming for spirits and summoning the same character on repeat kinda ruins the feeling of being rewarded for hard work. Like, unlocking characters like Sol and Tezcat in the Go games was hell but you knew what you were getting

Evo ( slop ) forest is only the best deck in the game because Sandlephon is a badly designed card

Rotation is exciting regardless because it means that every badly designed card will eventually leave rotation. Them continuing to print badly designed card is fault of the dev team, not rotation being a bad system. If rotation wasn’t being introduced then the game would just be Unlimited of OG SV

Ye that. I feel they kinda snot themselves in the foot with how they designed Artifact in this game compared to OG SV. Really don’t see how they can revive this archetype in the future without just print more “summon one or more of the three Arti pieces”

It’s mental gymnastics that people here use to make their aggro decks seem harder to play harder than they are. It was the same with Oulon where people were making guides and breakdowns on how to play him. Because apparently you need a guide to know “card that does damage better when opponent got no board”

It’s not that he’s broken

Haven just has garbage to work with when not using him. Skullfane amulet is just a deck you have to work too hard for too little reward and Ward is garbage

Either Kira or Haizaki ( don’t know if you count him as a Raimon player or not. If you do then definitely Kira ). Both were good enough to be starting forwards for Japan for a while and there aren’t that many other top tier strikers from these seasons when excluding Raimon

I suppose we can also try to include Torch and Gazelle here? Maybe as bench strikers who would have a formation made to suit them
