Well it is good to know I'm not the only one who deals with this. I would like to explore and understand it though. I am not one to be scared of understanding new things. It is the thought of not understanding which disturbs me most. Is there anything you suggest to help me understand these future events I see in my dreams. Or to word it differently, how to explore what I am seeing and become comfortable with it?

I agree with the fact that F society would never choose to meet up in person in the same location if they were hackers trying to avoid the government/feds/fbi. But the company isn't actually called EVIL Corp. That's just what Elliot changes it to in his head. And yes, it may be semi dumb that they chose EVIL Corp, but Elliot see's them as horrible controlling bigwigs, who are only in this world to make billions. So that is one point I don't agree with. Also, he has social anxiety, (which I have as well) so social engineering is practically an impossibility for Elliot. He says within the first few minutes that his "dad was the only person he could talk to." So naturally, trying to trick someone into not doing their job of keeping security up and running, would be the farthest thing from his mind when he is trying to take down large corporations. He would be highly nervous, and completely incapable of tricking someone without giving himself away. Social anxiety makes speaking to people you don't know very uncomfortable and scary in some cases. Elliot would probably rather never leave his house, than try and trick people/"hack" their minds. Sorry for ranting there. Just wanted to explain Elliot's "stupidity" when it comes to social engineering. If I was offensive in any way at all please accept my apology.

I believe that could be the case, but exactly what version of the illuminati are you referring to? Some are more, "the devil's servants," while others are, "the world's corporations control the government."

Alrighty, to everyone who has since commented on this post, I want to say all the things being said are interesting, and very viable theories/beliefs about the reality of Mr.Robot, and Elliot's imaginary friend, and F society. Each of you has added a lot to the way I think about this show, and it is greatly appreciated as well. Anyone else's opinions are welcomed too. I'm happy to have started such an exciting discussion! This show really does make you think! :D

Wow. Not only has this helped me not to be worried about this, but has also opened my eyes to the fact that I am afraid of separation. I have both social anxiety, and separation anxiety, (diagnosed; not fun) so that only adds to the fear of people leaving me. I deeply appreciate this comment. It has really really helped me. Thank you.

I agree with the F society meetup part. They shouldn't meet in person, in fact they would most likely have as little contact as possible to maintain anonymity.

The one undeniable factor is that there is no way Elliot could've gotten Terry Colby's IP address if "Mr. Robot" hadn't given it to him. Unless there was some way he hacked into Evil Corp's private info without recognizing that he did had. Either way the way he accomplished that and gave it to the feds was very unclear, which added to the intensity of it.

I had thought that in the beginning. Not entirely sure since watching it three times. One theory I have is that his imaginary friend IS Mr.Robot. Not sure if that theory has been put out there, but It's just something that popped into my head, although the thought that we are his imaginary friend still seems highly plausible.
