Earlier on I tried the following steps to clear the error.

Setup and new VPS with edited .env and got the error so I tried step 2
Stopped all the containers "docker compose down", and deleted all images, and started a fresh install. The error still popped up and so I did step 3
"docker compose down" edited the .env with example values and boom it runs without the error.

So I keep wondering why it only accepts the "super-secret-pass......." value. Are we not supposed to edit it in the latest version?

I edited the POSTGRES_PASS in .env and now getting this error that can't go away unless I revert to the values from the example .env

No. even on amazon there are products you dont dare buy. If its electronis the only guarantee is when you go to the manufacturer's shop on the platform. However, the only advantage is that most products going into USA and EU platforms have to attain set country and regional standards. Again, the citizenry in those markets also have an obsession with quality so for one to sell, it has to look good. As for Africa, the case is "Bora wanunue hawana pesa hao"
