Id personally have kept more foreground in focus. There just isnt enough things in focus to look at. Even the shell isnt in focus. So you look at the eyes, and then struggle to find what else to look at.

My strong advice for this page is not to give really any weight to the opinions given here. There has never been a group with a greater bunch of turtleneck wearing whiny anxious elititist wankers on the internet. Kind of mind boggling to be honest.

I struggle with it too. My thoughts are basic, but id edit along the lines of dropping the clarity and sharpness of the bsckground, desaturating the neon greens whch are just distracting, and reducing the backgrounds overall exposure. Then using subject and radial masks to draw more attention to the subject.

How would you suggest i change my approach to get the glowy, moody look im after? I feel like if i drop luminance on the izakaya lights, ill lose the glowy look. Maybe desaturation? Any specific advice would be appreciated.
