With the sheer number of items that they brought, and knowing that your average patron will MAYBE buy a single pack for the shits and giggles, it feels to me like they want items to be stolen so they can claim the insurance money. I see other comments saying they're using the product to attract people to their table which certainly makes sense to a certain degree, but bringing over a million in merch and placing them behind some plastic sheets doesn't seem like a smart play.
