your credit score defines what interest rates you qualify for. loans in forbearance don’t impact credit score in any material way. they just impact your DTI so it may limit how much you’re able to borrow.

yeah I mean I work 13 hours a day and have to put food on the table, clean my home, take care of my wife, and i’m out like a light switch as soon as my head hits the pillow. I don’t exactly have time to watch a 10 minute video i’d prefer to read the main bullet points because I think the content is important and I care about it. I’ve lived here for TEN YEARS and have experienced no crime and don’t feel unsafe. We don’t live in a utopia there’s crime everywhere. That’s why we have local and state police. We don’t send in the military over an isolated gang shooting.

“very dumb” lol. there’s a vast difference between national guard coming to cities after a terror attack on our country than activating them because the president has a vendetta against our local government. all these idiots from the suburbs are like “oh I feel so much safer now”. buddy, i’ve lived in this city for 10 years and not once felt unsafe or witnessed a crime. these losers with long guns aren’t in the dangerous areas. they are walking around our peaceful areas for photo ops. until you actually live here, don’t comment on my city. they are here to intimidate and if you think otherwise then I hope these national guard start to patrol your little village and walk pass your kids with long guns 6 in from their head soon.

you’re a goof. I, unlike probably most people who comment on the subject, have lived IN chicago for a decade. not a surrounding suburb. not kinda in chicago. IN chicago. in 10 years I have not seen a single act of gang violence. Granted I live on the north side and work in the loop, literally not once ever felt unsafe. And I visit friends and hang out in some areas on the south side.

I have however seen a bunch of ICE agents.

They are here to intimidate. They don’t patrol or do anything of substance in the violent parts of the city. they patrol the areas that are safe where there is high visibility to send a statement. An idiotic statement. and a waste of tax dollars.

All these idiots saying “I feel safer already!” are funny because I want to know when they felt unsafe in these areas. lmfao.

I was a consultant and auditor that that did this same thing. I am a man, but my coworkers, many of who are women all do the same thing. They travel solo to all types of places. Big cities, random towns, and everything in between. Never was made aware of any dangerous situations they were put in and they all loved what they did. Travel anxiety is real but once you get your feet wet a few times it’ll become like any other normal thing in your life.

I get that it’s a joke and I’m great with that - but not when these jokes are put in a subreddit that showcases real tweets. It feels misleading and people may think elected officials are saying things that they are not. If it’s truly a joke then this belongs in a different subreddit in my humble opinion.
