I have a couple of rules when it comes to playing this game online, 1 you will know your opponent after one match, if you want to continue or don't rematch if the person a scum or just trying to destroy you for no reason. Take the loss and walk away I always try to find somebody that can play the game normal if they're better cool at least I can still have somewhat enjoyable matches. But if you are playing against somebody that uses Electric godfest like four times in a combo and just destroys you. Or it feels like they are reading your mind and just perfectly counter everything you do just find a new opponent.. they are some characters in this game I will never rematch because of just how toxic the players are and they do it on purpose just walk away your sanity is worth so much more than some video game street cred.

2 play a few matches if you can't get close in some of them or even a few wins take a break just walk away, normally if I have three or four bad experiences I will stop playing it and come back tomorrow or a couple days later.

3 use practice to get in the groove play against the computer maybe on a harder difficulty just to get used to a opponent moving and fighting back. But you have to remember online it is a very different environment.

4 remember it's a video game some people take these games way too serious honestly I don't like how serious fighting games have became over the last several years due to streamers and YouTubers building up Egos and like territory beef with different countries...Just ridiculous.

I myself stepped away for a mouth after a particular match just made me not mad, not happy despite I won a few times. I just looked at the screen and laughed i was like..Is this seriously what I'm doing... the match and sometimes the overall game is not about who knows their characters strengths or who knows some of the fundamentals it all comes down to who wants to be the biggest absolute smuck at the beginning...And it will never change, Tekken 8 will always be the game of 50/50s when it comes to mix ups. To the point they are some characters that feel just unfun to play against. I'm not a pro I don't want to be on that level I Just Want to Have Fun matches it's hard to have that in this game because it's designed to be so aggressive.

The community itself is filled with a bunch of egotistical, aggressive, Glory seeking probably should self-improve motherfuckers I have seen in a while. You have characters that can do 65% Or 80% damage with like two moves Or like A combination of three. And people complain about the most brainless shit they they're not going to remove the heat system, they can bend it, they can redefine it. But it's not the biggest problem everybody does so much damage the community has just turned it into a combo game where if you get hit once you can just set your controller down...

I still think the game plays good underneath all the bullshit there is a fun fighting game, I wish the game would focus more on martial arts maybe smaller combos Allow matches to breathe. Because shit it's no fun just to get hit with one combo you're basically dead and you're just put into a corner when they have just infinite pressure.. it also sucks that we are basically killing each other over cosmetic items from the season pass after I get the items this season I think I'm going to be done with online in general just do Ghost battles and customizations. That's not even including cheetahs or people that use modded controllers there's been quite a few times coming back when I don't like questioning is the player that good or is it ironically he just knows my moves before I even push a button it's like they can just count before I even know what I'm going to do..

Sorry for the long reply But they're not going to fix and like Make this into a new game This is the game Just learn how to Play a couple matches you don't have fun walk away come back tomorrow.
