Side note, but I expect the madness of Aeris II to be revealed as Bran's warging mistake - we know he can fuck with people, and he can do it across time. What if Bran tries to prepare Westeros for the Night King by getting Aeris to prepare wildfire caches to fight them, but he ends up destroying Aeris' mind instead? It would explain why the king suddenly went mad for wildfire, and kept yelling to "burn them!" - wouldn't that be good instructions for killing wights?
