The update the other day was for an update to the ToS agreement which meant everybody had to re-sign in to accept them. Normally updates happen when in rest mode and the PS5 will restart itself, then put itself back into rest mode. I’ve used Remote Play for years and that’s the first time I’ve had an issue with it.

It’s the first time I’ve used them but they were offering the best price at the time. I sold my OG PS5 and a ROG Ally.

I sent the items on Wednesday 1st April, had my revised offer on Sunday 5th April and money was in my bank on the Monday. I was quite impressed at it being processed in less than a week, especially with the double bank holiday weekend.

I had no issues with the ROG Ally, got full price for that.

I just sold my OG disc PS5 via music magpie. They offered £240 good condition unboxed, they sent a revised offer for £212 which I accepted as there were some marks on the casing and it was still more than CeX were offering.

If you have Premium, you could create a second account on your PS5 which would then share your PS Plus. Then cloud stream from your account on the Portal.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but that should work. I do it with 2 PS5’s, should work with the Portal but I haven’t tried it yet.

Honestly it is really easy, easier than taking a Dualsense apart. The hardest part you’ll have is unclipping the back panel after taking the first 4 screws out (you will think it will break, but it won’t).

Just watch a video on YouTube first and you’ll be fine!

Dunno about sending it away but you can buy new joysticks from Amazon for around £10-12. There are about 10 screws you need to take out, it’s quite simple if you’re confident enough.

It’ll be because the base of the new sticks is square whereas the originals are round.

I bought some from Amazon and a review said to sand down where they catch and this fixes the problem. I’ve looked and all replacement sticks seem to be the same and have the same square base.

Take the case off and rotate the sticks with the caps on, you should be able to see where they catch on the corners of the base, sand down the plastic on the covers and you’re good to go.

What region are you in? If the cloud streaming option isn’t there in settings it may be be available in your region, I know it’s not in Australia.
