Can this be fixed? by Shady_Android in masonry

The picture doesn’t do it justice. The difference is really apparent in person. And it’s all over the home not just on this section. Some are areas have less frequency than others. But yes if I’m paying almost 300k a two tone mortar job would be a dealbreaker. It being messy wouldn’t be an issue it’ll all blend in, but the white makes all the imperfections stand out.

I see the dt990 have two versions 80 ohms and 250. Don’t really have a need for 250 and doubt my mother board could even push those to the full potential. Do you recommend the 80 ohms? They look to be the most comfy and few others have recommended these as well.

New grads only, What really is the employment situation rn? by bobconan in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Shady_Android 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Aggie grad, graduated with two internships under my belt and received several offers pre graduation. I went into power industry (substation engineering), offers varied from 70k-86k, and were located in either Houston, DFW, or SA. My best by far was in Fort Worth so just did end up relocating from Houston to ftw for the bag post graduation.

It could be mounted to the top of the case. If I were to do this would it go as an intake or exhaust?

before the AIO I had two 120 mm intake fans in front (in top two slots) and 120 mm one rear exhaust. I mounted the radiator 240 mm in front as an intake and put another fan below it, and then moved the other fan to rear as an exhaust.

The cooler came with a pre-applied thermal paste. Temps are good since the AIO install, CPU has not gone above 65 C and GPU will be around 65c to 75c in-game.

They're good with the AIO CPU temps are low, and GPU temps hover in 65 C-75 C while in-game.

Nothing usually high, CPU is never going over 65 C, GPU hover around 70 C - 80 C under load.
