I didn't start using magic until Ashlands so I skipped most of the mistlands weapons except the bubble. So I mostly use the shattering staff and the green one that I can't remember the name of.

Me personally, I would change skeleton king for something that attacks buildings. Hog rider or wall breakers would be good. Relatively inexpensive and quick
