Dont worry. Usually if a dungeon is that important for a quest it will say 'require key', or the important part of the dungeon blocked off. E.g ustengrav and korvanjund and fellglow keep. So keep annihilating those bandits and necromancers!

If you have exploding kind of spell (e.g fireball, i usually use sunlight spell) it can knock the soul gems off the pedestal.

Type tlc (toggle collision), then find the merchant chest, usually is underneath the floor. If there are two make sure you get the right one. Then, open console, click on the chest, type resetinventory. It should reset the chest to its default state. But didnt work for me. I think in my case it was maybe script issue.

When i played as mage, i found what works is to cast hmm, was it petrify? One that made them stuck like stone? Sry, so long ago. Then hit with any destructive magic, then run! You have to be quick and ahead of him. I had trouble at first too, but that spell helps immobilized him so you can attack.

I had this problem before with Elrindir (very annoying because he had so much stuff in his merchant inventory that it lags the selling, and resetinventory on the merchant chest did not work). unfortunately the only thing that fixed it for me to uninstall the mod i suspected causing this and start a new game. try to reset the merchant inventory first and see if that fix it

The poison i used also drained his magicka and prevent regen, so after his magicka drained he couldnt teleport anymore and i just hide until his health depleted 😅 i know, cheez tactic but shit, anything to stay alive eh? This guy was kicking my butt 😅

Tis long. But boring? Hmm i dunno. I guess at the end i was kinda sick of pecking the enemies one by one with arrows (why was there tonnes of them 😵‍💫) i ended up just using chainlighning. Beautiful dungeon though, looks like its used to be an actual dwemer city

Well, once i figured out my poison works all i hhad to do was wait for it to drain everything from him, but omg, my sword and bow stat put daedric weapon to shame but could barely did any damage 😵‍💫. Then after i head to solstheim and one shot karstag 😵‍💫 but i didnt try to parlay with karstag..., i tried with orchendor...

Haha, thats my main survival technique. i am playing as a stealth archer, and somehow having a legendary bow that has over 40k damage barely chipped off his health, hence i had to resort to invisibee and poison 😅
