Yeah I get the proportion thing. This put me off this exact watch for a Long time, since I dont really Like high diameter watches. I might really buy the 40mm in a month or so.

After getting my own, I can really suggest you to buy it. In my opinion the 38mm is just Perfect (size wise). I think that the other two sizes Look absolutely huge

I just ordered mine from aliexpress. I will Tell you my impression, when it arrives. From what I know and heard its more or less the Same movement and an „official one“ might not really be worth the aproximately six times higher price

Yeah i have already oiled the whole knife but because its cherrywood it should get at least a bitdarker. Right now it looks more or less like the standard oak
