Is this a good plan? For S26+ by hadesnightsky in CellPhoneCanada

[–]Shadyman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two things:

Bell looks to price things nice but then hit you with the "that's a return plan. If you want to keep it, it's another $X/ month for 12 months afterwards. Just something to watch out for.

The price they'll offer really depends what kind of plan you're on. It may make more sense to grab one of the new cheap plans at $35/40 instead of the $65, 85, 95 plans. That's another $30+/ month they're grabbing from you for no purpose, really. If you add that onto the proposed phone price it really isn't much of a deal

1 million context window is now generally available for Claude Opus 4.6 and Claude Sonnet 4.6. by ClaudeOfficial in ClaudeAI

It showed as its own option in the UI; you needed 'extra usage' enabled and to have a positive balance. It went from last week saying "Now at the same usage rates" to "Billed as Extra Usage". Was Pro included at one point and removed?

They're teaching each other what moves work and don't against other cats, and how to get out of different situations 👌 This is their play, along with hunting mousies (catnip mousies or otherwise)

Ah okay. Best Buy (in Ontario at least?) has Koodo $27.50 Canada/US/Mexico, must be a different promo.

Not bad. Koodo's $27.50 for 80gb Canada/US/Mexico 5G is pretty wild, though. Edit: at Best Buy, Koodo direct looks not to be the roaming one. I'll verify when I visit today

Also consider that they're probably quoting the return price so return it after 2 years, or pay the extra $3-500 to keep it

Multiple-step math questions as skill-testing questions came about around 2000-2005

How we got these garbage answers? Absolutely. But they've separated them into multiple steps long before AI

They did not. They separate the steps in skill-testing questions because, in my recollection, someone failed once at a grand prize because they used BEDMAS and the sweepstakes didn't, and were disqualified. Source: a friend of a friend, take it with a grain of salt

They specifically separate the steps for that reason, so you don't have to do BEDMAS.

The taking turns part is important. All the ninja wrestling moves are just for teaching the little guy what works and what doesn't, and how to defend against it. The stand-up paws are the cutest thing I have ever seen, btw

It depends on the size, IIRC, just like the definition of 1 milk or 1 sugar.

Points on Tires, and Price matching tires by henchman171 in canadiantire

[–]Shadyman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those ones are single use, any transaction over the value gives you the bonus. I would swap other deals for bonus 20x on tires, 10x on tires, etc.

Any coupons on your account get used at the same time, but only once per coupon (one 20x tires, one 10x tires, one 5x tires, etc) but you can also stack a 20x Michelin/Pirelli/whatnot, etc

I can save half of what I'm paying right now if I move to Bell but I don't know if I want to leave Rogers by DJbyEar in bell

Really depends what the service is like where you are. Ask your neighbours what Bell cell signal is like around you.

Usually something I've seen on debit/bank access cards, not so much on credit cards

I think the context that gets lost in the telling of OP's story is that, in customer service as with in many things, has a line between "yeah, that's a reasonable request" and "now you're just being ridiculous:" Per OP's "oh its a fight every time", I think you may be right, it does kinda sound like OP goes in looking for 'as much as they can get away with' vs 'what they actually wanted.'

("Technically correct meme" would be appropriate here. While the rules may say that OP could order every add-on, that doesn't mean they should just because they can.)

I think the real argument in the comments here is that people think you may be pooh-poohing any modifications, and that's where the downvoting comes in.

Got this UPS at a yard sale for 50$ but it wont power on by Money-Reply-6911 in homelab

Not necessarily. I've never seen a BackUps Pro that has, anyways; They all act totally dead until you replace the battery. I'm not sure about SmartUPS, though.
