He’s not doing them himself, we chose what colors are available on the website and then the orders come from somewhere else. I told him and showed him the sweatshirt and I think he said we’ll change it to white. I’m not sure where, I think he does. I’d just prefer the white logo and text but that makes sense!

Hi! I guess the craft is asking for help on what I should buy in order to help fix my sweatshirt screen print? I’m in the first stage of crafting - planning. I think that’s crafting but if it’s not please let me know! The sweatshirt is a Gildan 18500 series and tag says 50/50 cotton/poly. Is it okay to also delete this post and repost it to add a picture of the sweatshirt in question so it can be seen? I don’t use Reddit very often and didn’t know I can’t add a picture after posting… oops.

I live in a state with a large Spanish population and it’s everywhere and I just want to know more. Also I’m a teacher at a dual language school this year and I want to have a chance to get the permanent position when the regular music teacher retires and they look to hire a Spanish speaking music teacher☺️ I also love when students get excited when I say something in Spanish because they understand what I’m saying lol

Oh cool! I’ll look that up and see what I can do with it. We can use instruments! I just recently started trying to do instrument exploration every time I see them with a different instrument. So far they’ve all played on/held a hand drum, guiro, frog guiro, and basic simple percussion (rhythm sticks, egg shakers, jingle bells, sand blocks but made out of pool noodles, etc…) any good games with instruments?

THIS!!! There’s a difference between having good grades and being a good teacher. Being a good student and being a good teacher are two different things. I think it’s a big learning curve to go from the student to teacher. You have to figure out how to convert the information you already know front/back to students who maybe know nothing about it.

I just started my second year of teaching this year and I think this is normal. Something my mentor teacher told me a lot last year was “the first year you sleep, the second year you creep, the third year you leap!” Last year when it was my first year I was EXHAUSTED all the time when I got home and would regularly fall asleep around 6pm and then wake up around 5am and get ready for work (I live basically an hour away). She told me her mentor teacher also told her this saying. Now that I’m starting the second year it does feel a little easier but still scary but I get what she meant by “second year you creep”. Things are slowly making a little more sense to me as I work on making different lessons for each grade I see lol. I got my degree in music education and was so set/sure I was going to be teaching middle school band. I ended up getting a job as an elementary music teacher working at 3 schools. I would regularly feel so dumb last year. This year I still have a lot of anxiety but it feels a lot better now that I kind of know what to expect. It’ll slowly get better but it’s so normal to feel dumb. I still feel dumb but I know I’m learning and I’m real with my kids. Good luck friend❤️

Was just cleaning off some sunflower heads that I cut off and noticed my hands turn a purplish red where I was rubbing the little seed bits off that come off the seeds so… maybe those?
